lvsweetness, I had 2 of the bags from that range. The leather on the bag is amazingly yummy so I think it will smoosh in an MAB & not be too boxy huge.
Sorry to be a Debbie downer here but are you familiar with this hardware (the plated attachment on the handles)?? It's been a problem in the past on these bags......
My DD had this bag and she would be walking down the street and her handles would come completely off the bag with no warning. I ended up selling it for her on ebay with full disclosure a few years back. RM staff repaired them once for me but they continued to be a problem.
The screws are known to come out easily (the handles). You'll need to check them regularly. I have extra screws if you need them!!
oh which one, the mab!?? oh boy lol, thanks so much for telling me, that would have been awful if i went out with it all piled in and then BOOM falls apart, im gonna inspect it thoroughly when it arrives and walk around the house w/ it to see how the handles are, maybe take it to be fixed right away, thanks again
I wouldn't worry too much, just a little... Lol. I had a quilted mam w these plate handles and it didn't fall apart on me. Some of them definitely had issues, either you get a good one or it falls apart immediately. Since yours looks beautifully preloved I would think you're safe from this issue.

Speaking of which, not to be a copy cat or anything but I'd been negotiating with a seller for a noir with black quilted patent trim (with metallic blue piping), with little luck but she lowered the price so I bit. Crossing my fingers for angst-free plate hw.
oh i'd love to see that, post pics please! i never even knew RM had made this kind of style until the mab popped up on bonz. i know she has made the black cat and the dove grey w/ neon piping and also orange wave, but never saw these quilted patent/piping ones before. hope your handles are secure, crossing fingers for both our bags
C4H made a great point - since your MAB is pre-loved and in good shape the handle issue is probably nonexistent. My DD really got a dud though!!
I also had a MAM with this plated hardware back in 2008. I absolutely LOVEed that MAM!! It was the paper white leather - so yummy - with the black patent quilted trim. I never had problems with that one.
