What makes you choose RH over GH? and vice versa?

I picked RH for both bags, just because I prefer the look/weight of it...however, that being said, I think that the two colors you are looking at would be fantastic with silver as well...

i have several colors each in the city n work bags with the classic rh...so hot..just bought the weekender in black with gold gh and the city in white with silver gh i love it...so fun the white really shows off the silver hardware n the gold shows of well in the black..so if i were u get the marine with the rh and the sapphire in gh...

Hey thanks for all your replies!!!

This is my initial 2 purchases so I have to choose wisely. I don;t want to end up with $1,000 + bags and then not use them.

Personally I want the GSH because it will make just ordinary jeans (i am so a jeans girl) look more dressy. But sometimes I find it kinda flashy & gaudy.

I can also switch colors with styles like sapphire with the city with rh & marine in day with gsh.

I am soooo indecisive.

Don't we all wish we can buy ALL the bags we want? But alas money doesn't grow on trees. Plus I bought 2 Goyard just this May.

I will definitely post my purchases in all its leathery splendour!!!

I will be making my trip next week & hopefully there will be stocks available.

I am also considering an Anthracite City in GSH too.

Poll!!! I picked RH for both bags because of the fact that I only have rg bags myself. I think that the GH can be pretty and fun but its way too flashy for me. Also, I think that the rh is amazingly beautiful in its "simple-ness"

Well, I'm a huge fan of GH, if only because, like you, I'm a jeans n casual gal which I suppose is beyond boring, so I feel I need the little extra bling that a nice handbag gives me!
I suppose you could say the GH is heavy, but ALL my bags have GH, so I don't have any RH bags to compare with.
I really think that the Giant Hardware in general enhances almost all colors way beyond the ordinary. I have a Sapphire work with GSH, LOVE IT!
I just like bright shiney stuff, in general..

I've got a Sapphire Day with RH and I love it, because of the tassles mainly. I like the GH but not on the Sapphire.

However, the Giant Silver hardware would look AMAZING with the marine.

I'm always for GH. I just like the look better than RH. Not a huge fan of the tassels as I'm always afraid I'll snag something on them! I just liek the look of GH better.

I think the Sapphire with GH would look SO HOT.

Of the options I would choose the Marine City RH over GSH. My first bbag was a Black City with GSH and found that the GSH on the size of the city really overpowered the bag and made it look "cluttered". I love the look of a classic, RH City...so simple, but yet SO SO beautiful.

As for the day, I chose the GH. Sapphire is so dark it looks great with the GH, especially GSH.

I picked Sapphire GSH Day and the Marine RH City. I don't like the City with the GH as much as I also feel like it overpowers the bag. There are a few colors I think it looks okay with but most I've seen I thought the GH was too much for the City. Have you considered the Part Time? It looks great with GH.

Part time was my first choice before my extensive research. But the part time is longer in terms of length.

I'm sort of a north-south bag person instead of east-west.

Thinking that if it's wider it'll make me look bigger hehe

I voted for Sapphire with RH because I think it is a lovely color as it is. Marine with GSH because I think the color needs a bit of bling. BTW I love your Goyard purchases.
