What LC Shops Have You Been To?

A YouTuber that I watched mentioned in her comments that the Longchamp at the King of Prussia Mall in Pennsylvania will be closing. I’ll call them today to confirm. The one at the Short Hills Mall in New Jersey closed as well but that might have been a few years ago. Is this a new trend for Longchamp? I love the boutiques in NYC but loved the smaller boutique at the KoP mall. They recognize me when I shop there.
I often visit inlaws in Greenwich Connecticut and that store also closed about a year ago. Always meant to stop by but kept putting it off

UPDATE: Unfortunately, I got confirmation that the Longchamp Boutique at the KoP Mall will close on April 30th (2023). I spoke with the store manager and she said that location had opened 12 years ago and she had worked there for 10 years. She said the company is restructuring (we all know what that means) and they will have “shops” within larger stores like Nordstrom. Only 5 shops within the larger stores are planned for (none in Pennsylvania). These shops will not have the the more varied selections available in the boutiques but will have more inventory at the store. I’m lucky enough that NYC is a 2-hr drive but it costs soooo much to get into the city for me. At least I was able to enjoy the boutique here in Pennsylvania for a few years.

Thanks for reviving this thread pixie. Sad news about King of Prussia I thought that boutique was much better than the Washington DC one.

I was very sad last summer when the Madison avenue New York City flagship closed. It was the first long champ boutique in the United States. Longchamp actually owned the building that housed in and it had some offices on the floors above it but I was told that the family, the cassegrains, have been looking to sell that building for a long time and they finally did. I now use the 5th avenue flagship store there are still three Longchamp boutiques in New York City plus some of the staff that used to work at the Madison avenue boutique landed in the Longchamp kiosk in nordy. However the Nordstrom is farther away from me than the 5th avenue store although I would like to use them more but it's just inconvenient for me.

After the Short hills New Jersey store closed they opened a store in garden State plaza which is the 17th largest mall in America but it only lasted for a year I think.

It is very sad that long champ is reducing the number of boutiques in the United States but interestingly they doubled the amount of outlet stores in the past few years they used to only have three now they have six I believe.

I went to the Nordstrom Flagship in February and their selection of Longchamp was no larger in my opinion than a Nordstrom you’d find at the local mall. Maybe they’ll increase the size of it one day. I also loved the Madison ave LC boutique but the 5th avenue is also good. My favorite, though, as far as the NYC locations are concerned is the one in Soho. I’ve found all the Longchamp CSAs to be very accommodating, friendly, and genuine. I feel very fortunate to have shopped at the LC Elysess in Paris, 2019.

I have only been to a few Longchamp stores:
- Macy's Herald Square in NYC
- One in London (can't recall exact location, but grabbed my Big Ben LE bag on sale there)
- Champs Elysees
- San Francisco (near Union Square, before it permanently closed)

I have never been to an outlet but would love to. I am thankful that the outlets let you buy by phone though. I live in a state where there isn't any Longchamp stores/outlets so I have to buy at Nordstrom, online, or by phone.

That will be the case for me after 4/30, too. If you do get the chance to visit and outlet, please do.

Boutiques:
- Champs-Élysées, Paris, FR
- Rue St Honoré, Paris, FR
- Bordeaux, FR
- Souque Biarritz, FR
- Le Tilbury (authorised stockist), Pau, FR
- Duomo, Milan, IT
- 2 out of the 6 (?) airport boutiques at CDG airport

In store kiosks:
- Nordstrom Honolulu, US
- Printemps Paris, FR
- Bon Marché Paris, FR

All of you in the US and UK, especially @MeepMeep67 are making me jealous with your outlet finds :P I'll have to visit Val d'Europe (Vallée Village) the next time I'm in Paris. I regret that I wasn't into Longchamp during the years that I lived there, because now it's mostly online shopping for me. The French boutiques outside of Paris have very nice staff, but limited selection, especially for special editions/collabs

Ooh I forgot the Paris airport location. I am sure I am missing locations in other department stores, but I don't really consider them

- Cheshire Oaks Outlet
- Bicester Outlet
- Regent Street
- Amsterdam
- Macys NYC

Which store in London is the best to shop at? I have been to the Regent St store and it is beautiful. Just wondering which is everyone's favourite? I am planning on picking a bag from the Le Foulonne collection when I visit next month!
