What kind of bag do you carry to work?

Most of the time, I carry the Amy Kestenberg Tamitha nylon backpack with gunmetal hardware. It's because it will accommodate my work laptop, notebook and other essentials. It also has a back slip pocket and a secure lock on the zipper. I liked it so much that when Nordstrom rack offered the bag in grey $29 I grabbed it. I also grabbed a spare in case this one dies. It also makes a great overnight bag. I also carry the Coach market tote. I pair my backpack with a very small crossbody or WOC. That way my badge, hand sanitizer transit card, and keys are within easy reach.

Has anyone seen or better still, does anyone own this Furla bag? It's big enough for my laptop, looks well made and the adjustable shoulder strap isn't so thin that it will dig into my shoulder while carrying the bag fully loaded. Comes in leather or a suede/leather combo. Looks well-made and the price is not stratospheric.

I'd think that center divider would keep you from carrying a laptop...

The large nylon version accommodates a 14 inch laptop in zipper pouch. It does have a separate backpack compartment at the back --the part you would wear against your back. Even though it's padded, I never felt comfortable putting my laptop in there. I always put my laptop in a case of some type. I was able to put my MacBook pro 13 in in a zippered pouch in that laptop compartment. It was a snug fit. Amy kestenberg would fit her 15 inch MacBook pro in that space. I don't know if they're making it anymore. But it is a really good one to get. It's reinforced with leather on the bottom. I don't know if the material is as forgiving to scratches, but it's a backpack and that's to be expected. You brush up against things and put it down, etc.
