I lost a three stone amythst (sp?) ring years ago. I'm pretty sure the new owners of the house found it after we moved.

I lost a rolex datejust (dont know if watches are jewellery!) a few years ago. Was washing my hands in a mall in germany and i removed my watch and never put it back on ..and when i went back like half an hour later, it was gone..
It was my 15th birthday present.. now when my parents are like..how come we dont see it on you anymore..im like, oh i wear it but u dont see it! They still dont know...

I also lost an earring (of a pair) that my mom gave me. I told her and surprisingly she didn't get mad. I felt more bad because it was sentimental to me...
I take off my rings when I wash my hands. I'm always terrified one day I'll leave them behind carelessly.
A lot of my jewellery got stolen last november. Most of it was given to my by my grandmother, who got it from her mother and other family members. I especially miss an incredibly long, chunky rough pink gold necklace (I don't usually like gold, but this one was fantastic!), some diamond earrings and a ring my grandfather gave my grandmother for their 25th wedding anniversary. I feel really empty without them...
