I lost a pair of pearl Yurman earrings. I have torn my house apart! We moved a year ago and the only thing I can figure is they got thrown away in the move. Sooo sad...they were beautiful & a gift from my parents.

I lost a pair of diamond studs. My grandfather bought me a pair when I was little. I don't know what happened to them. I haven't worn them in YEARS. My mother and I looked around, but had no luck finding them

Oh... chi chi I can understand your pain it hurts a lot especially when a gift given by our loved ones is lost.Don't you worry I think if they are kept in the home and you didn't wore them for years then it must be some where in the house you will get them some day.

A ruby and diamond heart shaped earring my mom just gave me for Valentine's this year. It really sucks, because it was all part of a set (necklace, pair of earrings, ring) that were all matcing. Losing that earring kind of ruins it. :(

I had a diamond stud kicked out of my ear on the playground when I was younger...never found it.

To this day I have a phobia of wearing jewelery, I'm too afraid I'm going to lose it. I'm starting to get a little better though!

I lost a silver & ruby pendant from Saudi Arabia :cursing: I'm not even sure how. I guess the necklace broke somehow...I was so sad at that.
The only other pieces of jewellery I lost were two rings: a silver dragon ring and a snake ring, also silver. The first got stolen, the latter one got lost during my move.

I lost a really pretty gold and 2 carat diamond tennis bracelet that my husband bought for me for my birthday a few years back. We were taking a walk down the road after dinner and we weren't even gone 45 minutes. When we came back, I noticed that my tennis bracelet was gone off my wrist....and it was dark already. We went outside and tried to retrace our steps with flashlights, but couldn't find a thing. We looked for a week straight and couldn't find it, which totally is amazing because we lived at that time in the country on a winding dirt road and hardly anyone drove down there. I had that bracelet about a month. I still miss it, and my husband was a very good sport about it. He felt my pain. Oh....it wasn't insured yet, either.

I lost a heart locket my husband gave me for my 16th birthday. I was wearing it and at the end of the day, it wasn't there. I have no idea what happened. I was so upset that I told him not to buy me any more jewelry. Now I only buy stuff for myself so I don't get attached to it.

I lost a 1 1/2 ounce real heavy 18k gold bracelet in 1991. I am still sick over.

... two years ago.. I lost a 3 carat bypass Star Ring. It was worth like 5k. I can't imagine the lucky person that found it. I am pretty sure I lost it washing my hands in a sink.. at a restaurant. I got back to the table and it was gone.

... and about a year ago.. I misplaced a Roberto Coin Palm Tree Necklace. I am still looking for it.. and hoping its in my house.

It wasn't worth any money but certainly sentimental value - I lost my mother's Irish claddagh ring in a parking lot in northern Virginia in 1997. It was silver and had a piece of the Blarney stone in the heart and was a gift to her by her college friend who went to Ireland. I still feel terrible about it and I still pretend I have it when she asks. I wore it so much the band wore straight through and it fell off.

I lost the promise ring my husband (then bf) gave me along with my grandmother's wedding ring (she had passed away so I inherrited it). I took them off to apply lotion and set them on a wall. I left and remembered maybe 30 minutes later--ran back but they were gone. This was in high school and somehow a teacher found them and reported it to the office. I was able to go get them from the teacher and was sooo happy.

Later in college I left my grandmothers wedding ring on my desk in my dorm room. Returned and it was gone. I searched the dorm room figuring it had to be there (I didn't have a roommate) but couldn't find it. There was construction going on in the hall and I think the construction guys had universal keys and one of them took it since this was before the school year began and I was the only one already moved into the hall. :crybaby:. I haven't told my mom or aunt I lost it, I think they would be really sad.
