This is a great thread!

I wear dark jeans or trousers with cashmere jumbers from Brora and faux collars from carven. My shoes are usually from Clarks and vintage bag. Pearl earrings and statement ring or Kelly cuffs.

At the moment living in a hot humid climate. So it's DVF dresses, DVF tops and denim shorts, or play suit shorts. Super big sun glasses and a Chanel or lv never full bag.

Layers. Even in summer. Because I get cold.

A cut/gash/scratch, with our without bandage, depending upon availability. I lack sense around sharp things, which are everywhere it seems.

Comfortable shoes. Rarely heels, as my talent for walking in them attractively equals nil.

Sometimes, a scarf. Which I remove, when doing anything around fire or soup, & tie to bag handle.

Handbag. Suited to day's activity, not necessarily to outfit. Heavily sprayed with collonil waterstop, due to finger bleeding & soup moments.

Sunglasses. Always. Even in rain.

A smile. Probably much too often, destroying any "sullen & mysterious" vibe I might hope about.

Hilarious! Love this!!!

Hilarious! Love this!!!

Thanks. :)

Attended an outdoor event recently, where a mother needed a bandage for her child--nasty gash from play.
Opened my bag & gave her the precious "emergency bandage."
5 minutes later, noticed my sandaled foot cut & bleeding. No idea why.
The universe has an odd sense of humor, which I truly enjoy.

I love this question.

-Anything that's black, navy, or other neutral color
-A tailored blazer
-Long sleeve shirt, sweater, or blouse
-Ankle-length pants (because I'm not very tall!)
-Ballet flats, low heels, or sneakers
-A watch (a definite must)
-Sunglasses
-Handbag

And right now, I'm loving my pom pom keychain that I attach to whatever handbag I'm carrying.

For cooler temps:
Long sleeve tee with a tank underneath
Black pants or jeans
Ballet flats
When it's warmer:
The same but with short sleeves or a dress & leggings :)
Usually with a Longchamp bag

I'm 5'8" and a US size 4/6. I am a definite hourglass. Boobs, tiny waist and...um... "round" bottom half. So my uniform is designed to enhance what is good about my figure and minimize attention to what isn't optimal. It's also designed to fit my personality and taste.

Everyone who knows me knows my uniform: fit & flare or A line dress (sleeveless to long sleeved and summery to sweater all depending on the weather), high heels (again weather dependent) and a great handbag. I despise jeans with the fiery heat of the seventh circle of he**. But my hubby likes me to wear jeans. So I own two pair. I want to set them on fire and dance on their smouldering ashes - but I own them. I want a crazed demi god from an ancient land to smite them out of existence - but I own them. I try not to wear them.

The dresses help me accent my waist and "hide" the bottom half. Also, the dresses are easy. I look put together in one piece! And finally, they are feminine which fits my personality.

I wear dresses e-ver-y-where. When others are in shorts and T's, I'm in a casual sundress. Happy hour with the girls? I'm in a fun, sexy (but tasteful) dress. Work? I'm in a conservative dress that is appropriate for my company / level. If I need to make it more formal, I will add a jacket or if it's a very formal environment, I wear a skirt suit. But as time goes on, my suits get less time out of the closet. (I sold most of my suits over the last year for a fraction of what I paid.)

I love dresses. Colorful, flattering, feminine, unique and EASY!!! And with a great handbag and heels, I'm always ready to go!!

I don't own these items but this is the type of silhouette I wear.

I am a SAHM of 6, so I don't wear heels, but otherwise my favorite way to dress is exactly like you. I agree with you about jeans being the devil's spawn. I have no idea why people say jeans are comfortable. None whatsoever.

Dresses are great. One and done. No crazy matching/coordinating/trying to not try too hard etc.

for a brief moment, I thought we might move from the US Midwest to Singapore, and I fantasized excessively about having 9 linen A-line sleeveless dresses custom made. If I would have moved to Singapore, I would have those 9 dresses, some nice shoes, and bags and nothing else. Amen, halleleujah.

Yay! Another Dress Devotee!

And, yes! on custom from Singapore. My best friend and I have talked about taking a trip there and having a trunk full of clothes made!
