What is your 'uniform'?

Yes, the bag really makes the rest look much better! I try to add colour sometimes but I'm mostly in my comfort zone nowadays.:amuse:

Well, just stay in your comfort zone if it looks that good!
Loving the Bays, I'm secretly wanting the same bag (or a Ledbury) and the ballerines - too bad my hoof is so big itd never fit into the shoes!:lolots:

You're probably much better with creating "mysterious" vibe, when wearing them. :)
I just squint as a mole, cursing daylight.

I wish! I am really light sensitive and I start squinting when the first photon of light comes over the horizon. Like you, I am the only person on the street wearing sunglasses even when it's overcast. Oh well, at least it makes for fun accessorizing :)

I'm not stylish and don't have fashion that "impresses", but I definitely have a uniform. For both work and casual, it's pretty much a tank and drape-front cardigan. Light J.Jill Wearever ones in warmer weather, Inc. sweaters from Macy's in cold weather. I have the same Inc. sweater in 6 different colors. Then the pants change if I'm in the office or not. If I'm in the office, I need to wear some form of *dress-ish* pants.. I seriously HATE work pants. If not in the office, jeans. - Ultra-casual would be a hoodie and Land's End starfish pants. Shoes are pretty much Tieks, Ugg and various sandals.

But ALWAYS a fabulous or interesting bag!!!!!

I have a uniform for sure. I didn't even realize it was called a "uniform" and that I essentially had a small "capsule wardrobe" until recently when I read about it!

An example would be I have three longsleeve uniqlo supima plain cotton shirts in different colors. I'll pair it with, say, one of three pairs of jeans I have (in different colors/washes. All neutral colors. Sounds boring, right?

But... Everything fits really well. And I wear killer shoes, scarves, bags, and accessories :):).

I'm 5'8" and a US size 4/6. I am a definite hourglass. Boobs, tiny waist and...um... "round" bottom half. So my uniform is designed to enhance what is good about my figure and minimize attention to what isn't optimal. It's also designed to fit my personality and taste.

Everyone who knows me knows my uniform: fit & flare or A line dress (sleeveless to long sleeved and summery to sweater all depending on the weather), high heels (again weather dependent) and a great handbag. I despise jeans with the fiery heat of the seventh circle of he**. But my hubby likes me to wear jeans. So I own two pair. I want to set them on fire and dance on their smouldering ashes - but I own them. I want a crazed demi god from an ancient land to smite them out of existence - but I own them. I try not to wear them.

The dresses help me accent my waist and "hide" the bottom half. Also, the dresses are easy. I look put together in one piece! And finally, they are feminine which fits my personality.

I wear dresses e-ver-y-where. When others are in shorts and T's, I'm in a casual sundress. Happy hour with the girls? I'm in a fun, sexy (but tasteful) dress. Work? I'm in a conservative dress that is appropriate for my company / level. If I need to make it more formal, I will add a jacket or if it's a very formal environment, I wear a skirt suit. But as time goes on, my suits get less time out of the closet. (I sold most of my suits over the last year for a fraction of what I paid.)

I love dresses. Colorful, flattering, feminine, unique and EASY!!! And with a great handbag and heels, I'm always ready to go!!

I don't own these items but this is the type of silhouette I wear.

Love capsule wardrobes! And killer accessories are EVERYTHING!!

Autumn/Winter:

Black skinny pants, sometimes coated.

Some uniqlo heattech or airism shirt and a sweater in dark colors over it

Down coat or wool coat

Cashmere scarf in dark or garish colors

Low boots

Any bag that fits the weather and purpose (various Hermes, Goyard and LV bags plus the occasional fun piece like Balenciaga and Proenza)

Spring/Summer:

Same pants, either polo shirt or T-shirt

Silk or linen scarves

Sneakers or ballerinas

Same bags lol

I wear dresses almost all the time.

I'd love to wear heels with them but they really hurt, no matter the brand or price or type.

So dress + nice flats (ferragamo, lanvin) and stockings if its cold.

Hi fellow dress-lover! We share the hourglass and the uniform. I also love to be "put together in one piece". :D
