There has been articles about stylish women developing a 'uniform' --- your go to ensemble that never fails to impress, always stylish, and very 'you'. For me, I also have my bag/shoe uniform --- if I am not sure what to wear that day, I just use this pair and they always looks great with everything --- my BV Olimpia Ebano and my nude/black ferragamo pump below

What is your 'uniform'?

And here is your lovely photo right-side up for us PC users...

And my uniform is jeans and a shirt; my BVs don't go out with me on work calls...

Great photos and outfits ladies  I adore both the M Bays and that woven BV.

My life is complicated, and it's quicker to take public transport to work so I don't wear heels, we 'hot desk' now, so we lost our offices :pout: so there is no keeping things at work, sometimes I feel packed like a donkey :-s

At work I go for a simple black knee-length, tee (usually plain olive or navy) or floral shirt with a cashmere jumper (sweater) in a med-dark colour, nearly always an Hermes or Gucci scarf for a nod towards elegance and colour

with

Gucci, Hermes or DM boots and either BV hobo (Spring, when I don't need a coat) or one of my Gucci top-handles. When I need full briefcase (Liberty) my handheld will have a shoulder strap. If I'm going straight to dance/martial arts/gym class from work I will take my Burberry reverse check I carry my phone and keys separately ;)

I'm built for comfort, not style, but right now, my go tos are my black RK Micro Boxer, black Everlane sandals, and a dress. In the fall/winter, it's my chocolate Massacessi Zhoe, brown Lucchese riding boots, Corilynn pencil skirt, and a sweater.

If I'm headed into work for either, add in my Want les Essentiels Kansai case as I'm living out of it, lol! Papertiger, I can relate: just started a new job, there's no open desks, and word is there won't be until August!

Jeans, Adidas Super Stars (silver/red/white Vintage edition at the mo), a simple top, Boss Orange watch and a fun bag - if I'm going to be on a more formal situation it's usually a simple top, a black pencil skirt/black trousers or skinnies, boots, heels or ballerines depending on the season and a Citizen Eco-Drive watch. Combined with designer bag like Longchamp Roseau, Love Moschino or Coccinelle. I'm a pretty boring individual when it comes to clothing.

Layers. Even in summer. Because I get cold.
A cut/gash/scratch, with our without bandage, depending upon availability. I lack sense around sharp things, which are everywhere it seems.
Comfortable shoes. Rarely heels, as my talent for walking in them attractively equals nil.
Sometimes, a scarf. Which I remove, when doing anything around fire or soup, & tie to bag handle.
Handbag. Suited to day's activity, not necessarily to outfit. Heavily sprayed with collonil waterstop, due to finger bleeding & soup moments.
Sunglasses. Always. Even in rain.
A smile. Probably much too often, destroying any "sullen & mysterious" vibe I might hope about.

I am a teacher so I have to look professional yet still comfortable because I'm with first graders all day. I wear trousers, a top, and my pointy toe Jessica Simpson flats or Lucky Brand ballet flats. Sometimes, I wear a dress that's either mid-knee or maxi. Can't go any shorter than that as I'm on the floor with them sometimes.
For the weekend, it's denim be it a skirt, jeans, or shorts, t-shirt, and Chuck Taylors (I own about 7 pair). My bag usually never changes unless I'm going to a sporting event. I have many cross body bags that I use. My most used ones are an old Rebecca Minkoff MAC, Marc Jacobs, and LV pouchette from about 16 years ago. I'm looking into getting a longer strap for it, but the strap costs more than what I paid for the bag!

Here's an example of weekend wear. Sorry about the size. I don't know how to shrink:D

Lots of jeans and t-shirts in basic colors with jackets or sweater coats. Boots with chunky heels, ballet flats, or brogues. Often Hoop earrings and/ or a scarf. Mid sized bag that I sometimes try to coordinate with the rest of it. And always sunglasses. I'm like @remainsilly, I never go out without sunglasses.

You're probably much better with creating "mysterious" vibe, when wearing them. :)
I just squint as a mole, cursing daylight.

Great thread! I'm still figuring out my uniform but these days I'm inclined to wear
- black skinny jeans or black ankle length skinny pants. Haven't worn blue jeans in months.
- loafers or slip-on sneakers, or high top leather sneakers if raining
- linen tshirt in black, grey, white, or stripes
- oversized cardie or jacket
- trench coat and light scarf if raining
- crossbody bag or tote

When the weather warms up, I might replace the black jeans with white slim BF jeans and the shoes with a flat, slide sandal...I think.

Dark-color jeans or pants for me.

Pretty blouse or t-shirt.

Comfortable hoodie or sharp-looking jacket (sometime)

Sneakers or comfortable flats.
