Deadly Ponies Mr. Siamese midi in nightshade while traveling in New Zealand. I think I’ve found my holy grail bag for travel and long walks. It is made from thick, deer leather, the hardware looks very sturdy, it is practically weightless, and it lays beautifully against the body (the Deadly Ponies website photos don’t do the bag justice).

Interesting question, they do feel similar. The Coach bag is calfskin and apparently the BV is as well but it sure looks like cervo, although not as soft as the washed cervo. The BV feels a little thicker, with a slightly more pronounced grain. I'm a bit stumped as to what leather it is but everything I've been able to find says calf.

This cute circle straw bag by Amerii, a company in Bali. It is the large Ata bag. The linings all vary, so which one you get is random. I got a pretty green lining. Quality is quite good, the price is reasonable ($60 USD on sale), shipping was free (DHL) and quick.
