What is your one thing that you absolutely hate about a bag?

Too many sections, epecially in small bags, and especially when both sides of the bag are identical so I don't know which section I put a particular item in
Logos that are too visible - like Prada and YSL, or all over like Gucci, MK, LV, Coach, etc.
Fake leather
No option to put bag on shoulder (hand carry only or armpit strap)
Double closure, where you have to undo two closures instead of one and it doesn't look right to leave them open
Too heavy
Really bright gold or brass hardware - I'm fine with light gold or vintage brass
Too small to hold my minimum items - phone, card case, small wallet, keys and sunglasses.
Skinny straps on big bags

I'm fine with flaps
I'm fine with no closures at all as long as the bag is big
I prefer an outside pocket and at least 2 inside pockets but I can live without

Chain strap. Even with a padded leather shoulder section, it's too heavy.
Relatedly, heavy chunky hardware. If a bag is too heavy when empty, I'll never use it.
I don't like metal feet, although I understand the purpose behind them.
I love the look and feel of suede, but don't have the time/patience for upkeep.
Bottomless pits without compartments - a la Longchamp Le Pliage and Neo totes, but I do own several bags from these lines because they're lightweight and versatile.
Logos. If I'm going to be a walking advertisement, they should be paying me to wear their name.

Agree. Heavy chain straps. I bought the larger version of the BV Olimpia and those chains weigh a ton and make an awful noise when you put the bag down on a hard surface. When I bought it, it was the most expensive bag I've ever owned and I will probably sell -- it is beautifully made -- but I've just lost my interest in chain straps.

Also, I won't buy any larger "workhorse" bags that come with a thin shoulder strap. If the bag is supposed to be able to handle my daily work stuff inc a laptop, then the strap needs to be wide enough to not dig into my shoulder.

I won't buy anymore (already made the mistake) :
- shoulder held bag (LV Épi Passy GM)
- heavy bag, even if it gives a luxurious feeling to me (Épi Passy GM again)
- contrast stitching (Hermès Evelyne gold)
- too small to fit smartphone, zipped wallet and a paperback (A. P. C. demi-lune) Also, I want to be able to take A4 documents without needing a light fabric tote
- I need an easy access to my things, so an easy opening (or even an open bag). It prevents me from wanting too hard a H Jypsière, which is... well, a little more expensive than my purchase habits ^^

My #1 is armpit handles. If the handles are not long enough for me to carry my bag on my shoulder while wearing a thick winter coat then I absolutely cannot make it work.

Contrast stitching - especially white stitching on a black bag.

Small openings so I have to wiggle my wallet or phone to get it out.

Hardware that requires 2 hands to secure the bag closed.
