Well, she's here! Just acquired this Kelly 32 Eclat So Flash in Tadelakt, Rubis & Rose Tyrien. Not sure how I feel about her? There is some subtle fading on front, which I can see under where sangles sit, so not sure she's a keeper? It's hard to catch in photos, but visible in last pic, which shows under front flap. Not sure once cleaned and conditioned that it'll be less visible? I want to love her because she's more rare, being a So Flash. I adore the Rose Tyrien inside! Awaiting advice from Docride on cleaning & conditioning - my sure what to do with Tadelakt? I have Luxegarde on hand. Thoughts?

Bag is gorgeous (IMO). I would be furious about the fading - clearly the bag has been on display. That should have been overtly and clearly disclosed. Argh that seller!!Well, she's here! Picked up my ostrich SO today and got these sweatpants!
Yesterday I picked up this Sherwood blanket in Ecru! Exactly what I needed! I highly recommend it over the Avalon blanket line if you want a blanket that’s less decor and more soft, cosy goodness (and at a comparable price point). It’s 100% merino wool, heavy, super soft, and it’s bigger than the Avalon. Much nicer to snuggle up in!
I'd be pissed with the fading if it was undisclosed. I personally wouldn't be able to deal with it and have rejected brand new items with this damage before (window displays most likely). If it was a great price; if you otherwise love the bag; AND if the fade can be color corrected by a talented third party professional leather restorer* (this is not a DIY or cheap proposition) I might keep it. But, honestly, all of these factors have to be present, and you have to be willing to undertake the project. JMOWell, she's here! ETA: the fade should absolutely have been disclosed. However, fade might also be the reason for a truly great price. Cleaning and conditioning will not address fade, and you should not do anything if you want to return. *I don’t know if Hermes spa can color correct to this extent, but since I use H spa for some bags and third party spa for others, I don’t have an issue with third party work (for interiors; darkened handles; and sun exposure fading). You also have to factor in the cost of round trip express shipping and insurance for third party spa, and make sure your expectations are realistic. Conventional wisdom on TPF is NOT to use third party work on a bag you wish to submit to H spa.

TRR strikes again! The bag was $7700 + tax & shipping, listed in very good condition, no mention of fading & not shown in photos. To be honest though, it's quite subtle and unless the bag is open you can't see it - it took a while before I noticed. The rest of the bag still looks like a gorgeous red hue. There are some scratches, but I knew that and they aren't terrible - just slight surface type. I'm so on the fence as I know the Kelly So Flash Eclat is hard to come by, especiallyin a 32. What to do????
