I was ogling that K (if it was on evilbay). So glad you got it!Andy was told to “go to Hermès and pick up 25 scarves we ordered for Miranda”, she was later seen with orange bags and a couple of “hot Starbucks with an extra shot and room for milk”. Sorry I had to chime in as this just happens to be one of my most favourite movies of all time (as you can see from my signature)
To stay on topic: my latest purchase is a 1984 Box Kelly in Rouge H, it’s on its way to me, can’t wait!
No I didn’t get it from eBay; before this one I had actually paid for a similar bag on eBay but the order ended up being cancelled days later by the seller for some dubious reason.
I just bought my first Kelly - woot woot! She's pre-loved, but deserves a good life She's a 28 Retourne in Vache Liegee Naturelle. I fell in love with the buttery, soft look that seems so understated. It also has a casual feel, which I prefer. I know this leather is tricky but I live in sunny San Diego, where we hardly ever see weather, and I'm careful with my bags. I wonder if it's similar to LV's vachetta? Should I treat it in some way? I hemmed & hawed over color for days, but in the end chose a light neutral as it's always like late spring here, and I tend to gravitate to light colors.
I also couldn't resist a pair of mules to match! They're being shipped to Fashionphile in Carlsbad, where I'll pick up. Can't wait!!!! I'm sooooo excited! But I feel like I'm cheating on my Chanel collection

Two weeks ago I received the mail from Hermes saying they failed to express my wish (after 2 years) and I got reeeally sad.
So, I finally pulled the trigger and I bought the secondhand one I had in my wishlist!

I bought it to myself as a gift for my pregnancy! It has the security seal still attached I'm sorry. I was a bit scared of the dimension at first because I had never tried the bag in any size in store (I thought I'd prefer the 32) but now that I have it at home I must say that the 35 is the right size for me! When I saw the dustbag I said "hey this is not as big as I thought!" so I'm 100% satisfied!

Latest purchase during our trip to France. We were pleasantly surprised to find an Hermes store at Aix-en-Provence and decided to drop in. it was a decently sized shop (similar to the one at George V, Paris, but no where near the size of FSH) and we were the only visitors at that time. My wife was eyeing a scarf, and we also decided to try our luck and ask if they had any Roulis or Lindy for sale. They happened to have a beautiful Lindy, and while my wife was deciding whether to pull the trigger, I walked around the store and noticed this beauty; a black lizard Roulis in permabrass hardware. We asked if it’s for sale, and after a quick call to Paris, the SA said she could offer it to us! So of course we said yes and came home with this baby.
As an aside, I did a quick search online but didn’t find many instances of Rouli in black lizard. The few I saw were ombre lizard in a lighter tone. Quite happy with this bag as it is an understated design and colour but the lizard adds just a touch of edginess.

I got this coat/sweater this week and am loving it. Can’t wait for the colder weather and am tempted to get the cream one as well…. The sizing is quite unpredictable. Picked up a 38, but I am definitely not a 38. My last coat was a 42.
Went to the boutique to collect my Marble twilly and my SA told me she had something special for me, just arrived to the store, that she thought I may like: a kelly belt in Tadelakt leather! I especially like the fact that the hardware is mixed, half palladium, half gold. Perhaps this is a new design? I had never seen one like this before. Was not looking for a belt specifically but could not pass on it. Many thanks for letting me share.
