Ah! I thought I knew Devil Wears Prada pretty well, but when did Hermes show up in that movie? Do I need to watch it (yet) again?

Andy was told to “go to Hermès and pick up 25 scarves we ordered for Miranda”, she was later seen with orange bags and a couple of “hot Starbucks with an extra shot and room for milk”. Sorry I had to chime in as this just happens to be one of my most favourite movies of all time (as you can see from my signature )

To stay on topic: my latest purchase is a 1984 Box Kelly in Rouge H, it’s on its way to me, can’t wait!

A few other goodies from Paris! Birdy charm was from FSH. I’ve been asking for a Birdy since last December so I was very happy they had it!! This one has nata ostrich tail and mauve sylvestre wings, which goes with a few of my bags. Calvi duo and travel perfume were from H in Terminal 1. Calvi is chèvre in Bleu Zephyr. It was also fun to pick out the travel perfumes/cologne. Store was empty and I didn’t feel rushed. Recommend leaving some time to browse this store before boarding!

I'm BEYOND happy

Two weeks ago I received the mail from Hermes saying they failed to express my wish (after 2 years) and I got reeeally sad.

So, I finally pulled the trigger and I bought the secondhand one I had in my wishlist!
Welcome to my new Kelly 35 in gris tourterelle It's from 2007, for me the conditions are excellent, it has just a bit of wear in the two front corner but honesly I don't care because I really love to use my bags and a little corner wear is not a problem I bought it to myself as a gift for my pregnancy! It has the security seal still attached I'm sorry. I was a bit scared of the dimension at first because I had never tried the bag in any size in store (I thought I'd prefer the 32) but now that I have it at home I must say that the 35 is the right size for me! When I saw the dustbag I said "hey this is not as big as I thought!" so I'm 100% satisfied!

Gorgeous!! I hear you on the size. When my K25 arrived and I took her out of the box, I was convinced it was an incorrect size because it was soooo small and light! Turns out it was absolutely the correct size and it simply isn't as heavy and large as social media would have you believe. I love my K25, but it is likely too small for me for air travel (ok for local/car travel).

Yes the fact that the bag has big capacity was one of the point in favor! Hope I'll use it as much as it deserves
