I like the Chanel woc as well but I wouldn’t buy it as a first luxury or an everyday bag. It is versatile but the capacity is a bit limited esp if you want to fit something extra in like readers. If you really want to own a Chanel though it is worth it imo.

I like the Loewe small puzzle (old design) as an everyday bag or my current fave is Loewe’s mini flamenco!

The mini flamenco is just THE perfect little, lightweight everyday bag! I’ve influenced two of my friends who don’t buy designer bags to buy this bag and they both absolutely love using the mini flamenco!

The capacity is perfect. I can fit my compact wallet, hand sanitizer, keys, phone, pack of tissues, nunu Lysol can and wet wipes in it. The leather is soft, durable, and luxe. It is easy to get into and out of, crossbody strap is adjustable and removable so you can carry as a shoulder bag, crossbody, clutch or attach a chain for evenings. I cannot say enough good things about this bag!
I love my mini Flamenco too.

My favorite crossbody bag ist the Saint Laurent Lou camera bag (black with gold hardware). It is chic & classic, suitable for every occasion, easy to wear, lightweigt, easy to get into and fits a lot while still being a small bag.
second this. and the back slip pocket makes life a lot easier

Hi everyone! 🤗 I am in my 60s and have never purchased a higher end bag. I have plans to see Paris in 2025, so why not splurge on something nice? I love being hands free with a bag just big enough for keys, a wallet and a cell phone. Please tell me all about the bags you love!! I have a few ideas, but want to know yours!
Hermés Evelyn medium size. Fantastic bag. Hands down, my hands-free favorite. You can also turn it around to avoid showing the logo.

Ok so I have a confession to make.... I don't think I can wait until Europe. After joining this forum and seeing the amazing bags out there....but, I want a deal that I KNOW is real. And I want to try it on before I buy it. So a friend and I are hitting the local Gucci Outlet. It's the only luxe option open to me at the moment. I will consider it a treasure hunt!

I've also decided that I may splurge on more than one bag in Europe. The flamenco, which I had originally dismissed as not my style, I'm growing more and more obsessed with. Add a donut chain of course!! And please keep the comments coming, I love them all.

I am more a medium size bag girl. However I have the T-bag from Toteme which is chic and sturdy. There is a mini version for people who need less which is also lovely!

Depending on your budget and lifestyle...

- Polene Numero Sept
- Celine Classique Triomphe
- Bottega Veneta Mini Loop Camera Bag
- Bottega Veneta East/West Loop Camera Bag

Well, I couldn't wait!!! But maybe you all can keep the suggestions coming for my SECOND lux purchase? I got this at the outlet, but it did not have the G in a circle on the inner tag. It fits everything, all my essentials and more. Not at all what I had pictured myself getting, but as soon as I tried it on, I just knew!

Congrats on your first luxe bag! It’s a beautiful little crossbody and will be great for strolling around Paris!

When you are in France, it would be a great memory to then get a classic Parisian brand like Chanel, YSL, Hermes, or Louis Vuitton.

Congrats - this bag is super cute and will match just about everything!

Good suggestion. I would add Givenchy or other French brands to the list (e.g. Dior for higher end, Longchamps for more affordable).
