Ok so I started the classics thread and we did end up discussing a lot of older models but mostly from 2005 onwards when bays etc came in.

BUT Mulberry started in 1971- I for one had hoped the 40th anniversary book would have a full history of what bags were made in the early years-as I didnt even look at M until the 1990's.

Anyone got any history of what bags were made in the earlier days- styles and when made- to fill the gap from 1971 up to 2005?

Miss Hill decided the book should be full of arty pics- not boring dry historical facts but I for one would have bought it for the latter

I would love to see a "History of Mulberry" to celebrate its 40th anniversary - hopefully the company will do it in 2021, which will also be a 'round number' birthday for me, so the perfect present!
