My most expensive bags were a Prada evening bag with gems on the front, I have no idea what it's called, and my Marc Jacobs Ingrid both about $350 or so on sale.

But I am getting the Isabella Fiore "Peace Out" Jamie Shoulder bag for Christmas, which was on sale on E-Luxury for $419, so I guess that would be my most expensive bag. And talk about a controversial handbag too! I've seen both sides of the spectrum, people that love it, and people that absolutely hate it...oops! Hope I love it, as I haven't seen it in person.

If it's expensive and I buy it, usually I try to get it on sale!

Hmm... my most expensive bag so far has been a Furla tote for $550, but I did buy/return a $700 Kooba this fall. Unfortunately I seem to have jumped ship into Hermesland so my triple digit days may be over.

I guess I am in the low middle among you. I got the only LAMB bag I have ever liked marked down from $800 to $419 a couple of weeks ago and am about to spend seven-something on a BE. Yes, it is amazing that two years ago I thought $300 was breathtaking and now I own a dozen bags that cost two or three times that.

Someone here has as a signature quote that they ran out of room for shoes and started collecting bags. Yeah, that pretty much describes me with 300 pairs of shoes ...firmly rooted in the next obsession.

Gulp. I just bought two Gerard Darel python bags today. One for $2700 and the other for $1800. My most expensive and second most expensive purchases ever. I had to slap myself after doing that. Must not do it again...must not do it again....
