Love it! I ordered this bag and the blue woven larger Lottie but they’ve been hung up in customs because they need my SS#. (Which I’ve never had to disclose for an Aspinal purchase before) According to the UPS representative, it was because one of them was made in China, but Aspinal says it sometimes happens randomly that a carrier or customs will hold an order over a certain amount and then want the purchaser’s SS. I just talked to Aspinal again today, though, and they’ve finally been released! 😊

Oh wow that’s crazy. I ended up ordering a mini Mayfair as well, like several days after you, and it already arrived. How strange that it can very so much! Can’t wait to see what you think when they arrive!

Did you have to give them you SS#? I really wouldn't want to do that. Do they report it to the IRS?

Yeah I did give Aspinal the number but I struggled with that decision. At least since I dialed up Aspinal myself, I knew I was really talking to them and they said they could transmit it for me to UPS in a secure way. I wasn’t going to provide it in response to UPS emails and calls since I couldn’t trust those were legit. I don’t know about the IRS—it doesn’t make sense that they would care that I ordered two purses?! And I think Aspinal covers the duties. No one has asked me for any extra $, at least not yet.
