What is the best brand for wallets?

I have to say that the mulberry wallets are fabulous!

I've had my red mulberry Somerset zip around for years and it has been abused! Stuffed with receipts, copper coins and all sorts and it is still good as new!

It has plenty of space for cards, cash, coins and I've yet to find anything that even comes close!

Any updates to this thread? I need a smaller wallet to go in my crossbody bags. I love the celine wallets, they have a wonderful designs for the interior and organization but they are so expensive compared to most other brands. Not sure if its better to go with a contemporary brand like coach or to go with a more expensive brand. Thoughts?

Celine wallets are perfect. Gorgeous grained leather and stellar hardware, in fact the pull on the inside zip just elegantly pops down into place, such a classy touch. The logo is usually just embossed and the styling is simple and beautiful. Love them but buy in euros if you can.

I'm in Canada so euros aren't a huge savings for me. The smaller ones were $700-800. How well has the leather worn, it seems super soft.

Personally I have really liked LV wallets - Brazza (for travelling and the ability to store multiple currencies), the (new) Slender wallet for everyday use, the Origami Compact (well for days when I want to go small, yet the design of the piece has a twist to it). Also the basic card holder is a blessing for when you really want to go light and then in terms of men's wallets you kind of sprout off to different brands with similar designs.

In terms of quality, I like to switch out my wallets so then they would last longer. Especially when you are paying upwards of $500 you EXPECT it to last for a long period of time.

Ok, so I have had a Celine wallet for the past 4 or 5 years, but it is starting to fall into pieces now, so I really need to get a new wallet for myself. The problem is that I have no idea what brands to look for. Who makes good wallets these days?
And if you were getting a new wallet, what brand would you be looking for?

I believe Chloe leather is really hardy. I have my Chloe wallet for 3 years now, using it every day, and it isn't falling apart anytime at all. I have to go buy a LV wallet to rotate with so I don't get bored! Edit: not just that, but also because the LV wallet is coated canvas, different material from leather. And a rabeanco wallet because it is the softest smooshiest leather wallet I can ever find, they have a rainbow of colours to choose from, and it isn't bulky at all. It does make it hard for me to insert cards properly into the slots because it is too darn soft.
