^ This. I personally prefer LV wallets. I find them pretty indestructible. I own both the mono french purse & zippy wallet and have had them for many years. Despite all the abuse I put them through they both still look pristine.

I agree. I have a Linea Pelle wallet that has had pen marks on it, dirt, lip gloss and all sorts of stuff. It just kind of absorbs into the leather and the pink just gets darker. It is really well made. I also like Hayden Harnett's clutch wallet and had one of those for about 2.5 years before the zipper broke.

if you are hoping to use the same wallet for years to come, i must say that Louis Vuitton is my go to wallet, over Chanel, Coach, YSL and Gucci (which i've owned in the past). I have had my current wallet for 4 years now and use it every single day (it takes a hard beating) and it has not cracked once. actually it still looks awesome! my previous LV epi wallet lasted me 6 years before i got bored finally and switched over. but i'm sure the brand wil just depend what type of wallet you are looking. for the long haul, i do recommend LV

I'd have to vote Balenciaga. I've been through tons of wallets but the ones I keep coming back to are all made by Bal. From small to large they have sizes to cover everything and come in such gorgeous colors.

I love my Marc by Marc Jacobs Bombay Zip Around Wallet b/c it has 12 credit card slots. Until I came across this one, I had yet to find a continental style wallet that could fit all my cards plus more. So I recommend any MBMJ zip around wallet that has 12 card slots.

There's nothing like my Lodis Los Angeles clutch wallet in emerald green lizard, I've had it for 4years and it's still in great shape, although the leather has some dark lines from being inside my bags but I love the color, I'm dying for another even if it's the same color, or mandarin or tennis ball color yellow ;)...
