What is in your classic Jewlery wardrobe?

hmm as an add on i have to say you need trinity rings, and bangles, i personally likee the tri-colour ones.
i don't no if everyone would consider this a staple but i think a complete set earrings, ring, bracelet, necklace something elegent and classic.
i think a classic watch, maybe cartier tank?
but we all know we are not going to stop at the staple pieces, because everytime we get something new we just add fuel to the fire

What I consider to be the classics in my collection:
- Diamond studs (I'm lucky enough to have two pairs one in white gold and one in yellow gold)
- Diamond solitaire pendant
- Diamond hoops (I have small hoops and a pair of huggie style hoops that I both think are staples)
- Diamond tennis bracelet (I have a bezel set 'classic' style one and also a pave heart one, but I think both are staples in my collection)
- Diamond cross (I have several)
- Unique right hand diamond rings (I have two currently)
- Strand of pearls (I have several with small sized pearls, I'd like larger ones one day)
- 'high end' watch with diamonds (I have an 18kt/stainless steel Omega Constellation with diamond bezel/markers)
- Tiffany heart tag bracelet
- Bold gold bracelets (I have several in white, yellow, and two-tone gold)
Things I'd like to add in the eventual future that I consider classics:
- Strand of Tahitian pearls
- Strand of Mikimoto pearls
- Strand of 9-11mm pink pearls

- Tiffany Elsa Peretti pave medium teardrop pendant

Things I have now and wear everyday/consider to be essential basics:
- diamond studs- mine are 1cttw princess although I'd like to add a pair of round as well
- gold and silver studs- my silver ones are Tiffany bead collection, my gold ones are Tiffany "2 carat" style
- pearl studs- I have plain and w/ diamond on the bottom
- pearl strand- want to upgrade to better quality, mine is choker length
- Hermes enamel bangle
- watch
- pendant- I have a couple and I alternate
- RHR- mine is from the Dior "oui" collection
What I would like to add:
- Diamonds by the yard bracelet and necklace (not the pendant, the one with evenly spaced diamonds) both in YG because it suits my skin tone better
- a pair of dressy earrings (I have one pair from Tiffany Fringe collection, the shorter ones, which work well for dressy events but are not super formal, I would like one longer/bigger pair)
- a stack of diamond band rings
- a couple of long "sautoir" necklaces like Alhambra, or the new Tiffany Zelige collection (currently lusting over this one)

i am very simple when it comes to jewelry... although i do love big earrings...

cali_girl: I just bought my bangles (6 in 18k yellow) and love the clink-clink noise (so do my children). I find that they are very versatile but were extremely hard to find as I wanted very simple slip-ons with no designs.
After dreaming about the VCA vintage Alhambra and seeing it mentioned on the forum so often, I am thinking that I need to add that to my classic Jewlery wardrobe. Any thoughts? I was thinking the long, I believe 20 motif, but I cannot decide between onyx or mother of pearl.

Me too! I don't think you can go wrong either way. I wear black all the time so I will probably go that direction in WG. It's so striking in black onyx!

WG inside/out diamond hoops (a smidge larger than a quarter)
Steel/diamond Chopard Happy Sport watch with black band, MOP dial
E-ring (aka The Headlight)
WG Yellow cushion cut diamond micro-pave halo ring (right hand)
WG Princess/round invisible set diamond bracelet
