Do all Coach bags go on sale ? I was looking at the Rogue today and have heard in the past this one never gets discounted .? I have not bought a Coach purse in years so excuse my ignorance
Some bags sell out so they don't get discounted. Coach has coupon sales a few times a year and certain styles are excluded from the coupon. Supposedly, Coach is making fewer 1941 items so there is less chance they will end up on sale, but no one knows for sure. If you really want something and wait, you might miss your chance.[/QUOTE]
Thank you for the response ! I did not know this . Well I guess I will not wait and just the Rogue then :)

I've only been buying Coach for about 4 years but it's been my experience, especially recently that, yes, nearly every non-1941 style bag goes on sale somewhere at some point. Even many of the 1941 bags go on sale but of course the one you want could sell out before that happens. I suggest buying regular Coach styles at department stores, on sale. If you don't use it right away, you can always return it if it goes on the Coach Outlet site. That's what I did and it saved me a lot of money. Just keep in mind that if you buy from the regular Coach site, you only have 30 days to return. I personally would never pay full price for anything, especially directly from Coach. But that's just my opinion!

Thank you for the helpful information !!! Hmm... maybe I will hold off then . The Rogue I believe is a 1941 style bag . There are a couple colors I do like . So if one color sells out , I could always choose the other . What I am not sure of though is with the Rogue style . I dont think this one is in department stores . Just the Coach retial stores only . So the change of a discount might be even slimmer :(

Going back to what was being discussed here back in December:

Deceptive Outlet Pricing: The Never-Ending Sale

and
https://www.truthinadvertising.org/coach-outlet-pricing-database/

Connecticut is the latest state to be alerted by TruthInAdvertising.org to deceptive or ficticious pricing by outlet stores, including Coach.
"... As part of its investigation of price advertising tactics used by outlet stores in Connecticut, TINA.org visited the Coach Outlet store at ******* Crossing Premium Outlets in *******, Connecticut on a weekly basis for more than six months..."

I don’t know if I represent the average consumer but I’m always aware that if it’s MFF, then there is no way it would ever sell for the MFSRP prices anyways. I always take it with a grain of salt.

Going back to discussion on Coach and direction of where it’s going, I must say that the 1941 has piqued back my interest in Coach. I’ve purchased Coach in my early years and moved on to other premium brands mainly because I’m craving for quality leather and workmanship and these brands fulfilled it. However I have since swung back to Coach after I felt the glovetanned leather on the Rogues and loved it [emoji7] !!! The workmanship is on point and materials are high quality at a pretty reasonable price. They are doing something right to attract consumers back to Coach.

Then again....Coach better not offer too many wide spread discounts on these 1941 products....otherwise there wouldn’t be any point buying it at full retail prices.
