What happens when you dunk a bag that shouldn't get wet?

Thanks! Isn't it a great little bag?! It was so dirty! When I used alcohol on the pen stains I couldn't believe the difference in the color of the clean leather. Then I tried washing it in the sink and as soon as I got it wet I could see all kinds of stains on the wool. After I had changed the suds and water 3 times and it was still dirty I decided that "desperate times call for desparate measures!" and I threw her in the wash!
I am so glad that I did because she came out so clean and pretty. Coach bags are tough!
Thanks, it is such a nice bag but it sure had a hard life! I couldn't believe how much nicer she looked after a little bath and some TLC!
It did, thanks, but I only paid a total of $24 for all 3 bags. It would be a lot harder to dunk an expensive bag, but if there doesn't seem to be a better option - and there's no way that you can wear the bag in it's current condition - a bath may be worth the risk!
Thanks, I enjoy finding and working of them. Not all of my projects are a success but they are fun. These 3 bags were quite challenging!

I can't believe how to revived those bags!! That is so amazing! I think I'm going to run by my local thrift store and try to find some opportunity bags! haha. Now do you wear these bags after you revive them or do you just do it for the thrill?
I do wear them, not all the time but on occasions, and I have few favorites that I go to the most often; but I guess it mostly for the thrill!
