Thanks for the compliment, Using_Daddy's_$$! I love all your creations and designs.
I-Love-Pandora, love your bracelet! I like all the animals, and the murano of course! I think the aqua ones are nice and summery. Eventhough it is winter here now, I like to wear it with black clothes to work. It is very eye-catching.
I was thinking of getting the dolphin, have actually seen some at the beach in my avatar a few years ago. It is my favourite beach!

Hi everyone, I thought I would try to put a picture of my bracelet on as it is so far. I initially got it for my wedding anniversary in July, my husband bought the bracelet and the MOP heart charm, I bought the butterfly one, and i've taken it from there. I was intending to get a charm to mark a milestone in my weight loss (I am on weight watchers) but I have already lost over 1 stone and 10% of my body weight, so I thought I should catch up! (How addictive is this jewelry?!) My bracelet has an animal type theme, as they have always been a part of my life, and they represent the pets I have now. I would also like the dolphin charm, as we went swimming with dolphins on our honeymoon, and they are my favorite animal in the world! I also have a teddy bear charm, because I make teddy bears as my hobby. I love the turquoise muranos too, and the exact ones you have on your bracelet (SydneyGirl) are the ones on my wishlist!

Also on my wishlist are: The cupcake (I love cakes, and have managed to cut down whilst on weight watchers!) Dolphin and a safety chain.

What are people's view on the safety chains?:confused1:
:smile1:

Congratulations with the weight loss.....keep up the great work! It's a fantastic incentive to reach your goals and then reward yourself with a charm. Which one will you get next, I wonder?!:confused1:
With the safety chains, when I got my bracelet the sales girl said they are a must in case the clasp accidentally opens up, so I got one at the same time, but now I'm not so sure. The clasp seems pretty solid to me.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, and have been SO inspired by all of your bracelets! I just got my first Pandora bracelet and charm - the Pandora Blue Ribbon Murano - in the mail today and am sooo excited! :yahoo:

I know that I'll be doing a mix of Pandora and Chamilia charms. I'll be going all silver with this, and doing a blue theme (well, primarily blue... undecided if I will make it blue/aqua or maybe even blue/pink - I do like the Pandora Tendrils Clip w/ the Pink stone, so...).

Anyway, this being my first, it will be a very meaningful bracelet. All of the silver charms will signify very important people or events, and will be adding some murano and gemstone charms just for some color and bling. :p

I'm sure I'll have a more fun / cute bracelet in the future, but this is the important one! This is all for my recent Birthday - the bracelet is from my parents, and the charm is from DH. I picked this one because I loved the color (and read somewhere that the ribbon murano's were going to be retired soon?) I'm originally from the Caribbean, so this charm represents the beautiful beaches and water we have. It is also more for fun / color, so kind of symbolizes a bit of selfishness on my part. Maybe I shouldn't say that but whatever... :p

First on my wish list is the Chamilia Motherhood charm. DH has recently become as obsessed with iTunes as I have with Pandora / Chamilia, so I'm hoping he'll agree to a trade... Chamilia charm for me / iTunes gift card for him. Waddya think? If not, I'm stuck til Christmas, so I'm banking on one (if not multiple) trades, HAHA. :graucho:

Anyway, without further ado, here is my VERY BARE brand spankin' new Pandora bracelet! I have a long way to go, but am SO excited to be starting on this very expensive habit. Quite dangerous for my OCD - emphasis on obsessive - personality, lol. I justify it by saying it will be a great heirloom piece for DD. ;)

Excellent choice for first bead! I didn't know those ones were so gorgeous - your photo makes it look much more vibrant than my brochure does! And I like the way you are using it to symbolise the Caribbean waters - perfect!

I'm also thinking about the heirloom aspect, and I also can't wait until my (currently 3 year old) daughter is old enough to have a bracelet of her own, and we can compare charms and beads and buy them for each other for birthdays / Christmasses!

Enjoy your new obsession. You sound as OCD about it as I am!

Thanks Splurgeface! The photo looks a little more turquoise than it actually is, but it's still quite nice in person. I like it more IRL than the main photo on their web site - but I've seen other photos online (just do a google image search) and it's more transparent like some of those pics. The one on the pandora site looks a bit dull for some reason.

I'd LOVE to start my DD out on one of these, but so can't justify the cost yet, LOL. Plus, I figure her interests are really going to change between now and when she's old enough to actually appreciate it. Maybe a no-name brand for now (w/ charms off of Amazon / eBay etc). I'd love to get her her own Pandora when she's older though! :)

LOL on your OCD-ness... I have a feeling there are a lot of us here. :p

^^^^ Well said ladies! Endymoon that is my FAVORITE murano. Wear her proud.Try wearing it with a black leather band watch and your jeans...just a suggestion. I wear it that way on my black leather bracelet. ;)

I just got my first Pandora bracelet and I've been ogling all your beautiful pictures. I'm trying to decide on a theme...I think my first bracelet will be mostly very meaningful charms. I'm in love with yellow gold so I'll be saving up to get one.
I will post pictures of my progress with my SS bracelet.
I have a 3 year old daughter and I can't wait for her to be old enough to wear one.

Thanks Using_Daddys_$$ and kirbymax! (and thanks for the suggestion Using_Daddys_$$)

So, I just twisted DH's arm to go to the nearby Chamilia store today and I got the Motherhood charm! This one has double duty, as it symbolizes both my daughter and I, as well as my Mother and I. I was especially drawn to this particular charm, because my mother has a Virgin Mary figurine that is the same Mother / Baby shape/figure that I always admired when I was a child. It couldn't have been the more perfect charm for this bracelet! <3

I also lucked out and got a bit more birthday money today, so am now plotting my next charm. It has to be a good one, cuz there likely won't be anymore until Christmas, LOL. Not sure if it'll be Chamilia in person or Pandora via mail...

Anyway, here's my bracelet now! :)
