What does it mean...?

When a seller on e-bay calls shoes "reconstructed"?
They are are designer shoes...does that mean they are fake?

i don't know maybe you can ask them but if i saw that written in a auction i would not bid

Maybe it means that they had a cobbler take it apart, or modifty it. Perhaps add or take away a heel, add new leather soles, or size the shoe one size up or down???

Hmm, it might mean there was an alteration. Like the strappy part of it might have been altered to fit to a bigger size?
