What do you think are the basic essential pieces every woman should have?

Bare essentials:
Stud earrings; pearl or diamond or gemstone... whatever represents the lady the best
Practical watch for everyday wear
RHR with some sort of special meaning or representation to the wearer.

In addition (for me):
My wedding set
A pair of fancy drop earrings for special occasions

I am not really a necklace or bracelet person. At least not right now. :smile1:

Yes, there's something about pearls and how they reflect light on the skin, almost adding a glow. The only strand I seem to neglect is a graduated strand with a removable pave pearl dangle. Length wise it would be considered a choker on most but on me it is just a touch longer than a choker. I inherited it from one of my grandma's so it's sentimental and really treasured even if I don't wear it so often.
It sounds so lovely <3 and very special. You should post a pic one day!

I wear a lot of jewellery all the time and have forgotton the basics lol.
I would say the essentials are Watch, earrings, pendant ,bracelet and at least one right hand ring with a couple on the left.
That was hard work for someone who wears a watch 8 rings, 2 bracelets and 3 chains with pendants and diamond hoop earrings.
I tend to wear more in the day than when i go out then a few sp statement pieces are worn.
I do love my jewellery though.

Hi!

As I'm approaching my 30th in April 2017, I want to start dressing more elegant and chic. I'm not made of money so I can't afford the vast jewellery collections that I love seeing on here.

What would you lovely people recommend for a core jewellery collection. I'm not brand loyal so any suggestions I'd be grateful.

Thank you. BB

A nice watch
A Bracelet at the style and size that suit
A Necklace
A pair of Earring in the style that suit your face. It could be a stud or a hoop.

All should be white diamond.

I think it totally depends on your style. Are you a dressy person? Casual? I'm more casual in my clothes but like to be more dressy in my jewelry.

All of this is subjective but my most versatile pieces are:

Pearl earrings.
Diamond studs.
Small gold hoop.
Chunky gold chain with matching bracelet.
Tennis bracelet.
Simple diamond solitaire ring I wear on either my left or right middle finger.
Two tone Tag Heuer watch.
