I recently had a horrible situation with my previous wedding set so
My husband went ahead and decided to give me a setting-upgrade..

So i picked this one out from tacori...

And i really loved it until my friend
Told me that it looks like a cluster ring and that she doesnt understand why i got this one...

It makes me sad and now everytime i look at it.. I think of her comment

What do you ladies think...??

It looks beautiful! Whoever that person is she's not a very good "friend." Cut that one loose from your life and enjoy your beautiful set!

Stunning. Your "friend" made a very rude comment. It does not look like a cluster ring and even if it did what would be wrong with that. There are very beautiful cluster rings. Anyway your ring is a very lovely halo style. Enjoy and ignore mean spirited comments.

I love your set, this is one of the nicest Tacori sets I've seen to date. Your friend is just jealous. Don't let that ruin your love for your new set.

Trust me, something similar had happened to me before. My husband surprised me with a ring upgrade for our wedding anniversary by getting me my dream Tiffany ring. My 'friend' saw it and said "Tiffany does not sell nice diamonds."

I think your ring is absolutely beautiful! Maybe your friend was just having a bad day?

No.. I really think that she truly hates the set and i get it.. People have different tastes and likes.. But everytime she sees the ring.. She says its not worth the money to spend that much money to reset and also that Tacori is not really worth it..
Also that it makes my center diamond look smaller coz it looks like a cluster ring in her view :(

Hearing it over and over again really hurts..:(

Your set is gorgeous! And your husband sounds awesome for giving you this upgrade. :)

It's unfortunate your friend doesn't feel the same way. Sometimes, people just speak their minds a little too freely without considering other's feelings. This isn't about being pc; it's about tact and respect. I hope you won't let her negative words affect you, but if she keeps making these comments, I would just gently but firmly say something like "I really like this ring and I know you don't feel the same way, but you're really hurting my feelings by repeating this." I don't know what your friend is trying to accomplish by putting down the ring, especially after your husband bought it already, and hopefully she'll stop saying things like this soon.

Don't let her get you down! :)
