What do you do for living? Do you get to enjoy wearing your LV handbags to work

I work at an ad agency in NYC and it's very much a scene in terms of fashion. People are definitely paying attention to what (and who) you're wearing. Since we're all working from home now I really miss seeing my coworkers' outfits every day!

In terms of bags (and shoes and accessories) - I saw lots of LV/Chanel/Gucci/Saint Laurent/Chloe on a daily basis. I think it's nice to work in an environment where you're not judged for spending your hard-earned money on nice things, but it can also feel like you need to step up your fashion game to fit in!

I work in Property Management and get judged constantly because I carry LV. In fact I have stopped using my bags for work. I now use a Coach bag. While I have never mentioned my bags to people a few ladies know what they are so always comment etc. in fact last time I was going on holiday and someone was releaving my Portfolio I was told by another employee I owed the person a bag and should be bloody grateful I now hardly use my LV.

I'm a high school teacher (in Canada) and I've only brought my bags to work once or twice. I'm constantly running around the school, and I don't have a secure place to lock away my bag. The bags don't hold everything I need for a typical workday either. The judgement from colleagues is also unnecessarily intense. I don't care about the judgment at all, but combined with the risk of theft and not being practical, it is not an enjoyable experience.

I use my bags after work, and on the weekends mostly.

I work in tax, and in a very casual environment. I change my bag about once a week. If anyone makes a comment, it's complimentary, but I seldom hear anything. People wear what they want and aren't judged. My bag goes into a closed shelf when I get to the office so people don't really have an opportunity to see them anyway.

I’m an accountant; currently working from home. My job’s dress code is “dress for your day,” so I’m lucky enough to be able to wear leggings, tunics, and combat boots in the fall, and joggers with t-shirts and Converse in the Spring. I definitely miss bringing my bags to work. Most of the gals at my job aren’t really into bags, but they always notice/compliment mine, lol.

I'm a fashion writer/freelancer, I also swarovski strass bags, and before this I was a paralegal. It AMAZES/STUNS me that the ppl who wear their designer bags everyday seem to imply they don't get complimented on them!!? Whenever I wear any of my designer bags, which btw is always!!! use it or lose it ;P everyone always have a positive comment to share.

I'm a stylist (although I kept only a very few, longtime clients after I had children), and a homeschooling mom. I carry my bags everywhere! There's been some rude comments from other homeschooling moms (they're quite a judgey group for people who are alternatively educating their children!), but I usually just reply with, "Why thank you SO MUCH for that opinion! Bless your heart.", and then the comments stop. What's funny is that the ones commenting are almost always wrong about brand/type/cost, while they're busy being rude. I don't carry nice bags around my husband's co-workers(insurance), but more because they wouldn't notice or care. They'd be more likely to spill a drink on the bag, and I can't have that foolishness!

Medical lecturer. When I have to go to hospital, tend to go for low key bags.
On other days, I go with my mood.
In current situation, on days that I have to don PPE and take samples, I go with washable bags.
