What color E-I is your e-ring?

Mine is a D. My side stones are a lesser color (G-H) and I can see a visible difference between the both. If I ever upgraded, I would want a lower color and bigger stone. Current is 1.21 center stone.

mine is an icy F and i love it ... it was important to me (and my boy) to have as white a diamond as possible with a very good cut ... i mean, if love excellent cut but the $$ were too much for us. i luuuurve it and cant wait to get my wedding band ...

lori - i love your ring ... we're princess twins (although mine is a baby at only a little over a carat!)

I'm not expert when it comes to diamonds, but i do know the basic s. Mine's 1.1 E color, VVS1, round cut. The sides are lightly lower grades, but not sure the grade of them.
I think if they are not yellow to the naked eye, then it's fine. As long as you're happy with the quality and size, then that's all it matters. :)

This is absolutely true. When DH and I were shopping for rings, we first said we didn't want anything lower on the scale than an I color. But when we found my e-ring stone we were surprised to see it was a J color. We didn't feel like we were compromising on look at all.

Of course you can see the difference when you put it next to something like a D color, but for everyday wear, it does not look yellow.

I have an I color and I'm completely satisfied w/ it.
If I didn't have this one now - since I won't upgrade it, and I had an I colored 1.25, to upgrade I'd personally go bigger in size, stay w/ that color and look for an ideal cut.

My engagement ring is a 2.2ct D VS1 ideal cut..my eternity band is a very old family ring, even though the diamonds are white, the color difference is obvious because the solitaire sparkles a lot compared to the small diamonds...If you go for a I color than pick an excellent cut.

My ring is a 3/4 carat, round-brilliant stone, I color. I LOVE IT! Its still white, but not icy. Its slightly warm looking and I love it!

When we were getting my ring, I remember the jeweller saying that while all the Cs are important, CUT IS KING!!!!

A well-cut I stone can look GREAT!

My ring has a center stone that is G in color and the surrounding stones are G-H in color. Although the photo doesn't do it justice, it looks really white to the naked eye and is always super sparkly due to the radiant and cushion cutting. I LOVE it sooo much!!

I have a 1.22 I Princess set in white gold. You can see a bit of warmth depending on the lighting it's in but it is VERY sparkly which I love. I prefer the warmth to the icy white diamonds though.
