First piece: Milla pochette which I purchased as a wristlet for my then new iPhone 6
I fell in love with the Mono, look of patina'd vachetta and sound of the zipper. I'm like an addict trying to recreate the high that I got with my first item.

I know what you mean. Sadly, I think those are fewer and further between the more items we get. Its like you become habituated to the experience or the more you have, the less special each one feels. Just goes to show that more isn't always better!

I adore the Neverfull! That's on my list, but I keep going back and forth on it because as much as I love that style of bag, I also sometimes just want a zipper. Lol I'm always curious as tro how secure things are in it. Do you have a bag organizer for yours?

I don't use a purse organizer, but I've never felt my things weren't secure. I wish I had gotten a totally MM before they were discontinued. You could always check out the Iena which is what replaced the Totally. They are very similar and have a zipper for that added peace of mind.

My aunt! I have always admired her collection of luxury bags. Seized the opportunity to purchase my first in Harrods, 10 years ago while I was there. Not exactly a store experience but boy I was excited. Since then, I can't stop and had to go back to Louis Vuitton.

LV was a brand that I literally grew up with - by the time I was born my mom already had a well-established collection - and by the time I was 12 my parent's had given me a Speedy 30 and my grandma an Ellipse PM. While LV makes up the majority of my collection, I would still add from other brands if a particular design speaks to me whether it be high-end or contemporary.

Purchased a Zippy monogram empreinte wallet for my mother's birthday last year. It was the first LV purchase I ever made with my own income and I was so proud...I went ahead and bought three more things this year...

It's also my first high-end luxury purchase so I feel a bit drawn to LV!

I had a LV backpack that I carried all over the world - indestructible. Quality.
Used it only for travel.
Then Jessica Simpson had a show with Nick Lachey and she had an LV handbag that I wanted - I was hooked!

I got my first few pieces back in 2003. I was already addicted to bags then but not necessarily LV even though I got more than just one. After that, nothing really caught my eye but other designers did. MJs designs sometimes reminded me of his MJ line which I loved. I didn't like the reminder on the LV designs though. I've had other wish list items which I just never pulled the trigger either.

One day in 2015, I checked out the store and started browsing. Somehow I found myself buying again and got hooked with more unusual, loud but fabulous (to me) pieces. I did not realize that NG took over LV until later. My LV addiction really started with NG's reign. I love what he's done with the brand. Now, it takes real effort to stay in budget...lol! My LV slg addiction can be attributed to tpf...lol.

Makeupbytiffanyd. She was talking about different things like empreinte and ebene and I'm like what are these words lol. Her empreinte speedy got me hooked. That thing is beautiful.

I am not 100% sure, but I think the first time I fell in love with LV was when I saw the Murakami collection with all those pretty prints, especially the flowers. But back then I was not able to afford any of the bags, so I just admired them.
I actually bought my first LV bag at the end of 2015 when I was finally feeling ok spending so much money on a bag. I got the Speedy 30 DE as my first bag, because my favorite bags were always the Speedy & the Alma. And after that I got 5 more bags & some SLGs within one year . So definitely addicted now.

Stanleydragonjr. I saw her unbox a multicartes on her YouTube channel in 2015. When I went to the store to buy one, i spotted a turenne mm which ended up being my first bag in 2016. Now I have an Adele wallet, 2 mp (one mono and tahiti.azur), a 6 key holder, and an alma bb. My next bag will be a Siena mm. LV is an addiction!
Im also becoming a gucci fan. More on the slgs and shoes than the bags for now although I do own a Soho disco.

The nicest neon pink bag I'd ever seen and an amazing SA who made a teenager feel like royalty. When I first went in to look, she patiently answered my questions and let me look. I left without purchasing it, but must have had a twinkle in my eye she recognized. An hour later, I was back for the bag and she was wonderful again. From then on, I was hooked.
