In Houston it used to be COACH, COACH, COACH, with some LV and Dooney thrown in. Though I do not live in the city anymore, but in a suburb, and that makes a difference, but back when I did live in the city it was almost nothing but COACH and LV. Now, thankfully, I am seeing less Coach, I think people are finally getting tired of it. I have actually seen very few Longchamp here, though everyone else is saying that's ALL they see. But then, I do not pay that much attention to what other people are carrying unless I like what they have. And I have no idea what the ratio of real and fake is. I don't really pay much attention to that unless someone is carrying a really, really, bad and obvious fake.

In Denmark LV and Mulberry are the designer brand you see the most.
Balenciaga, Marc Jacobs, Proenza Schouler come in second.
Bottega Venetta, Givenchy, Prada, Miu Miu come in third.
We hardly see any Chanel, Hermés or Dior and if you do it's only in our capital Copenhagen.

A ton of Coach, Michael Kors, LV (mostly fakes), some Gucci. Mostly random bags. But I did see three authentic Birkins in the past two months! Unfortunately the women carrying them were wearing really dirty riding clothes and filthy sneakers....

I've lived in Florida, Montana, upstate New York (Adirondacks) and currently in Tennessee. When I lived in Florida, It was and still is Coach. On my last few visits to see family, I noticed mostly Coach, some Louis Vuitton and some Vera Bradley. In Montana, Dooney and Bourke is popular, along with some Coach (this may have to do with the fact there is no Coach store/outlet in Montana). I can remember being in Dillard's in Billings and seeing teenage girls drooling over a couple of Dooney's and completely ignoring the huge Coach display nearby. In upstate New York, it was Coach everywhere. I suspect because resort town Lake George had a Coach outlet. Here in TN, there's lots of Coach, lots of Louis Vuitton (there is an LV boutique in Nashville about forty minutes away), Vera Bradley and a bit of Dooney and Bourke.

I think it is interesting to see what handbag brands are popular in different parts of the U.S. My husband travels a lot for his job, and when I get to go with him, I will "purse watch" to see what is popular, LOL.
