Sorry my wording could be a bit misleading. I meant I saw a fake Birkin carried by a woman in a H boutique, NOT a fake Birkin being sold at H boutique. The latter is not a possible scenario in my city, and hopefully anywhere.

i paid attention yesterday for about an hour at a local shopping center. Saw several LV, Lancel and Burberry, also some Guess
but at one party several months ago I spotted no less than three Hermes bags... 2 birkins and a kelly. me, I had my no name pretty leather black bag. can't compete with hermes and don't want to! but I did wear my Bottega Veneta booties...
of course i was salivating over the H bags, i'd never actually seen one. My DH thought I was nuts.

Everyday especially on my way to work in the morning, I will see most of the ladies carrying long champ bags. Not a single day that I will miss that. These are original anyway.
