Hi everyone!

I'm going to Vegas this weekend and needed some help deciding on what day bag i should bring. Now I know I will be doing a lot of shopping and gambling during the day (in the smoke filled casinos)..What bag should I bring?? I really don't want to have my expensive designer bags reek of smoke but then again I want to have a nice bag :smile: LOL. I've included a poll, please post your opinions! Thank you!

i voted for damier azur because it goes well with everything and if you are going to take pictures, it will look so bright in them.
i am not someone who worries too much about smoke and all from casino.

I'd say the Nikki in Wine -
1. You want to be hands free (gambling, etc) and not always setting your bag down where someone can swipe it, which eliminates the speedy to me
2. I'd be afraid the canvas on the Horsebit Hobo or Abbey would absorb the smoke worse than the leather, and it is harder to clean I think

Or, take the $30 Aldo and find a new designer bag while you are there!!!! :tup:

I am not that familiar with all your choices, except for the LV but I would recommend you use a bag that can go over the shoulder or across the body. Hand held bags are a pain if you intend to do a lot of shopping. You will need your hands free for all those shopping bags ;)

Actually, that's the worst recommendation because the Speedy is a handheld bag (unless she has that shoulder strap). Even when I go to the mall with my Speedy, it can be a sort of a hassle when you're trying to juggle things in your hands. Better to keep her hands free (as well as the crook of her arm, because that gets tiring).

I would take the Nikki or the Aldo bag.

i voted nikki! altho i would make sure to treat her with leather protector/stain resistant spray before taking her, just in case. but i voted for it because it is SO easy to put under the arm, looks great, and it can take the abuse! (i have an ocean nikki).....let us know what you decide and HAVE FUN IN VEGAS!!

I voted for the Aldo because I hate my good bags to be exposed to a lot of smoke. I personally have a few cross body bags that are leather but in the under $200 range that I would take. But if not the aldo or another less expensive leather bag I would say take the Nikki because it will survive the smoke smell better.

I voted for the purple Aldo. I saw it last week, and it's cute and purple is my favorite color. I hestitate at the possibility of ruining anything nicer. However, I was in Vegas a year ago with my toddler (met up with other mommies and babes) and I didn't see the smoking I expected. So that may not be as big an issue. Still, I'm for the purple.

I voted for the wine nikki because I just came back from Vegas and carried my sea green nikki almost the entire time. I started out with a LAMB bag that is a black and white fabric (not coated) and after the first day I could tell that it was getting dirty from all of the dust down there. I ended up carrying my Nikki for the other 6 days that we were there but must nights when we went out I just had my husband carry my id and lipgloss in his pockets so that I didn't have to carry a bag at all. My Nikki didn't absorb any odors from the smoke.
