Anyway... *yawn*

Question: There are so many bags out there and some reach major market saturation, so is there a bag you keep seeing and maybe even own that you wish would go away?

Answer: Those Longchamp canvas totes. :blah: I just don't get the fascination with them.

Noooooo..! The appeal is in the fact that they are high quality bags that can take a beating, don't cost much and the manufacturer takes pride in excellent customer care. I own several and won't be downsizing my LC collection any time soon...

Lol I think LC's downfall is that they have been so successful that the bags have been seen so much. If I had never seen it before, would I love it? I think I will! :)

I definitely get what you mean. I use one for university, because EW backpacks, and I live in a rainy climate so they will keep everything dry. They are quite overdone though! I've searched for a similar bag style but haven't found anything that suits my taste sadly

Bags that I could do without; (I worded it this way because while I don't care for it others do)

Michael Kors; I do not like what his contemporary brand has become. If I had to pick one bag though it would be the Hamilton.
Fur bags or exotics ; I just have never been a fan of fur or exotics.
Bags with calf or pony hair or any type of hair;I just don't like the texture.

Just get over it! To each his own, its not a personal attack on your lifestyle, just simply their opinion.

Wow, just wow!

I'll just reference this, the original thread starter question:-

Question: There are so many bags out there and some reach major market saturation, so is there a bag you keep seeing and maybe even own that you wish would go away?

LV Alma is a copy of Hermès Bolide. LV Totally is a copy of MK Jet Set. Saint Laurent Sac de Jour for Birkin. Givenchy Nightingale is a copy of an older Celine bag (first season of Phoebe for Celine). Mansur Gavriel bucket bag is a copy of LV Noe. Jimmy Choo Mave is a copy of Balenciaga clutch. The list goes on....

not to be too technical about it but I am pretty sure the Bolide is a copy of the Alma

To answer the original, question... No, I don't mind seeing any handbag and if in fact, I like seeing how different people style their look (or not) with a bag.

Amazingly, I don't see the one accessory a lot I dislike - the fanny pack. In fact, I just want on vacation in October to Venice Italy and a cruise. I don't recall seeing a fanny pack. Make fanny packs go away.

Then kindly enlighten me, what other style of bag am I supposed to wear with my light-up sequinned Christmas sweater?

BTW I'm kidding!

I've read through the entire thread in one go, and am surprised the Balenciaga City hasn't been mentioned. To me this bag looks cheap, as the leather in so many of them seems to be of bad quality, and not worthy of being hailed as a "designer bag". Can someone please explain all the clasps and leather strips placed on the front of the bag for absolute no reason at all, no function and ugly to boot IMHO - OK, rant over :-)
