Every day affordable brands (my job is very casual): J Crew, Gap for pants, Banana Republic, even Old Navy for ribbed tanks and tees in lots of colors.

Mid-range brands: I love Eileen Fisher cardigans. I don't buy anything else from this brand, but I love those open cardigans. I have a bunch and they are wonderful.

Designer brands: I love Michael Kors high end line. Love almost everything he does, so I try to buy a few special pieces when I can.

Accessories: J Crew ballet flats and mocs. I wear these almost exclusively unti boot season. They are comfortable, cute, and I get tons of compliments on them every time I wear them. I wear small pendants, and love stamped message pendants like Me & Ro, Jeanine Payer and Kathy Bransfield. I wear my Tina Tang mini charm necklace constantly. I love scarves and pick them up at Gap and discount stores. For bags, I love everything from inexpensive to insanely unaffordable, but my heart is with Belen Echandia, Tano, LV Monogram & Damier, and Marc Jacobs (both MJ and M by MJ). I buy cheap sunglasses because I constantly lose them, drop them, or throw them inside my bag.

My go-to outfit for daytime: Jeans (different styles), ribbed tank, tissue-weight cardigan, sometimes a scarf, ballet flats and a fab bag.

APC (a French label) for excellent cut basics, made in good quality fabrics.

Earnest Sewn
for stylish designer jeans that last.

American Apparel
for cheap tshirts that I can thrown in underneath blazers/cardigans but still durable enough for every day wear without losing their shapes too quickly.

I also have items from Viktor & Rolf, Preen and I used to be a big fan of Australian label Lover but not anymore since their prices no longer match up the quality of their items.
