I'm a very petite person (ie size 24 jeans fall off me) so personally I like clothes from Abercrombie, Hollister, and Ruehl (my fav store!). I just don't wear any sweats from them or anything that has their name/logo in huge letters. I love their sweaters and Hollister/AF jeans fit me and their price is pretty affordable compared to more designer items. I dress pretty casually- put on some Uggs and a North Face jacket and I'm out the door. Once I start working, I will wear the more conservative Bebe pieces for work clothes and the less conservative pieces for going out. I have a lot of trouble finding work pants. I have no butt and skinny legs. Bebe size 00 pants seems to fit me best (still a bit loose) but it's not easy to find. Any recommendations?

I also need recommendations for comfortable work shoes. I personallly dislike the look ballet flats and I am no good walking in (most) high heels... maybe I just haven't bought the right shoes? Are there any brands of shoes that are cute but comfortable?

I'm also very price minded since I've accummulated about 100k in loans for school which I will have to pay 6.8% interest for so I'm pretty much paying interest on any clothes I buy. However, I would rather spend more on high quality pieces than cheap H&M, forever21 stuff.

Once I have more money, I would love to shop at Anthro :-) but that may be awhile since once I have a job, I have to pay off my loans, save for a car, and a house. Argh! I can't believe I'm looking forward to being 40 so that money may not be an issue anymore (hopefully!).

What's so great about BCBG? I went in there and it looked very New York & Company, Express, dull businessy clothing... :shrugs:

what!!!!? Kidding but I have never heard someone call it businessy! I love the bright colors quality and funky designs yet sophisticated. They do have business attire but I wear something from them almost daily they have over 20 brands under one company so they have something for everyone. Of course this is in my opinion!

BCBG is way better quality than New York & Company and Express. Most people I know go there for BCBG's sophisticated and well-tailored dresses. BCBG makes stunning dresses that flatter petite girls, and their shoes are more whimsical and interesting than many other brands. I'm a huge fan of BCBG.
