What are your opinions on long mink coats?

I saw a pic of Carol Alt wearing a full length mink with real style and thought that the pic might just inspire the OP.

I would not buy this fur online because I always buy fur 'in person' but that a fabulous mink this is! It is Blackglama which is premium mink (check out http://www.blackglama.com/ ).

For $4,900 USD I would say this is a very good buy - any thoughts or views appreciated. I wonder whether the company is reputable so that I might purchase and return if it is not suitable.

Glamour and Luxury!! So beautiful. I have fond memories of my mom wearing hers. Long fur coats can be fun, stylish, and classy. Great with formal wear, a little black dress, what ever your confident style draws you to.

My fur coat is short and I love it, and then I have a cute little white rabbit fur vest. I don't wear it a whole lot, but its cute and warm, and was fairly inexpensive.

I think that when wearing fur it should look effortless rather than forced. I hope that I am making a little sense at least! Sometimes full length furs can be part of a 'head to toe overkill' outfit yet, if done properly there is nothing nicer.
