What are you hoping to get for Valentines Day

Oh I am so happy I am not the only one. I usually get flowers, dinner...maybe a card or an overpriced stuffed animal. When we first started dating I used to get jewlery....but that was 12 years ago when we still wore yellow gold, name chains and everything was diamond CUT.... Now with more sophisticated, expensive taste (lol)...I'm sure I wont get anything. My birthday is also smack in the middle of xmas and valentines...and since I got my e-ring for xmas, my 5 stone ring for my bday (along with a princess cut band and diamond hoops) I think I'm in for a year or two with no more presents :(.....HOWEVER, if I could choose....I would LOVE a Tiffanys key pendant or a love bracelet in rose gold with diamonds! HOWEVER, we never shop in either store and I can't bring myself to pay those prices for something that should be so much less.... so I am sh*t out of luck on those...lol!

I can't wait to live through all the ladies on here who get sparkly things and post pics!

A "re-proposal" with my newly halo'd e-ring!!

Can you believe I don't remember the exact date I got engaged???!!! I remember the setting and month...but the day eludes me! Shame on me!!

Don't think I will get anything as DH is not a romantic and generous gifter. Usually if I like something I would just get it myself and since this month is my birthday month, I have gone crazy with buying 3 Hermes bags (Lindy, Picotin and Garden Party), Fendi fitted jacket and phyton belt, Cartier jewelry and Hermes Charly hat so I won't be getting anything for Valentine's day "for me to me" gift. But hopefully my BFF will get me something small and cute:heart:

A celebration of my doggie's 10th b-day.....best present there is!!!!

Gosh I was the same way with my dog, I didn't much care about presents for my self but I would throw my fur baby a regular fancy party .
Bless him, he is a doll! And happy Birthday!

How romantic!:smile1:
I don't remember the exact date of the proposal either, or our official engagement with our parent present. It took me 7 years to remember my wedding anniversary lol!
Thank goodness he remembers these things.:p

As for my V day gift, I'm out of the fun early because he got me shoes  for present!

We usually just go out to dinner if we're not working. Ever since I told him I thought it was ridiculous they charge double for flowers because it's Valentines, and since I told him please don't bring chocolate into the house, I get none of that! :p

My DH totally spoils me though, so I can't complain. My anniversary, birthday and Christmas gifts are always TDF and he usually throws in random gifts throughout the year for really no reason.

You're not alone there, I don't remember at ALL.. I just know it was summerish. Heck, I don't even know the exact date of when we met or our first date. Both were between Thanksgiving and Christmas...that's all I know. We even got married just the two of us in a park before the wedding just to have something "ours"...I don't know that date either, but it was in August..lol.

I can't wait to see the ring!!!!!

Glad I'm not alone! My DH likes to tease me that I took "forever" to respond to his proposal! I told him yesterday that he has a big job! To think of a wonderfully romantic proposal to go with the new ring!! Should be interesting.......:smile1:
