LOL you are too cute! As long as he remembers anniversaries and bdays right? V-day isn't that special of an occasion - it's just a commercial holiday that capitalistic companies use to prey on poor romantic souls. I think anniversaries are more special because, instead of celebrating it with every other couple in the world, it's just you and your DH alone :D

quick question for the girls in the forum...so i wanna get a cartier LOVE ring for my girl for valentines...but there is a diamonds version and non-diamond version. The diamonds version is obviously more expensive...but looks similar.

She can't wear the diamond version every day even though its nicer looking because its too flashy for work. Whats better gift for valentines in your humble opinions...her wearing a casual ring (non-diamond LOVE ring) almost every day or a flashier one (LOVE ring with diamonds) for going out/special occasions? Price isn't the issue.

Since she is a GF and not a fiancee I say something less flashier, and something she will wear all the time. ;) Non diamond version sounds great!:smile1:

Yes that's the one I've got in SS I wear it with a tiffany key necklace it looks great layered, I've got it on a 16inch chain & I love it your right it is tiny but so cute & I'm defiantely going to get it in gold as well.:D

He has brought them in to get cleaned up and stuff. One was an early '80s ladies Rolex Cellini with a diamond bezel. It's yellow gold, which I don't normally wear, and the look is slightly dated, but it's a beautiful watch so I'll mix metals for this! I got an amazing deal on it, the seller bought it at an estate sale and I don't think he knew what he had! It didn't come with any papers or anything, but my jeweler looked it over and said it was a chance of a lifetime! I bought it for the lowly price of $1000!!! So anyway, with my engagement ring reset and this, my DF says I'm done! :p

We don't usually celebrate with anything more than small gifts (pajamas, cds etc). But since I should be giving birth any week now to twins...I'm guessing I'll get a "celebration of birth" gift right around that time.

^^ Much better term!

I am hoping for a Cartier La Dona watch, but I've also hinted that I'd like a VCA MOP alhambra single motif necklace. He's an online kind of guy, though, so I wouldn't be surprised if I get an eternity ring or something like that.
