i don't know...for that much money, it should have some oomph to it, you know? and other than the lining, there's nothing unique about it.

if it didn't have that strap thing going in between the two pockets, i would probably love it more. too much hardware for me...

though it's definately lighter than the leather version. and you can't even see the black sig, really.

That is what I love about the satchel ... the hardware and especially that strap and dogleash clip down the middle. I just hope I love the bag with the signature more than the leather which I saw in the store but of course, I did not like the leather being all worn looking.

Now correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't you see the leather version in the store when you ordered it in signature? If you did, then you would have known about the hardware and strap down the middle:confused1:

i did see it in store...

but, honestly, i thought i could get used to it...

ugh. if i return it, i get more store credit...that will give me over 1k in merch credit.

Really for that much money, you are right...if you are not happy then RETURN it immediately. Save the store credit and wait till the resort line comes out and see if that floats your boat. I know the money would be burning a hole in your pocket (I would feel exactly the same way) but by holding on the credit it would assure you of purchasing something you absolutely LOVE when it hits the stores and you would not have to shell out any more money. It would be almost like you were getting a new bag for free. I know it's not for free because you are paying for it now and not having a bag to show for it...but you know what I mean.

Good luck in your decision. I will let you know what I think if my bags ever arrive.

kallison...would you mind taking pictures of the signature satchel before you ship it back since mine is not due to arrive until Monday and I'm dying to see pictures? Also, I had another thought regarding all your merchandise credit we were talking about last night. Why do you want to return the new stuff and have a credit when it would be just as easily credited back on your credit card or any other original form of payment?

will take pics when i find the cords for my camera. :yes:

okay...complicated. had 3 outlet bags, returned them to boutique- and that has to be store credit. bought mia satchel and hippie with credit. returned those and bought legacy satchel. so...i've been using the same store credit since the outlet bags...never pulled out my cc.
