Went to buy my first LV and left totally bummed....

I have the Belem PM and it is a lovely bag. Just keep in mind that the Speedy 30 can hold way more (I have one of these too). I find that the Belem is great for going out as it looks so elegant and unusual but it can only hold my basics. The Speedy 30 is huge and I can get tons in there - so it is great for day-to-day and shopping trips. Think about the purpose of the bag and how often you want to carry it. This may not be the only bag you buy from LV!

It's nice to hear from someone with both bags. I am concerned the Belem PM is a little small. I don't carry a ton with me but even so that bag might be restrictive. I did want to get an everyday day. Hmmm I might end up with both too, but it will take a little while until I can afford to do that :worried:

Def sounds like love at 1st sight w/ the Belem... Save up for the bag you love.. it will only make that 1st LV more special.. the Speedy can come in the future...

If You Really Wanted The Speedy (After Seeing The Belem)...I Believe You Would Have Purchased It. Definitely, Save Up The Extra & Get The One You Love ~ The Belem!!!

Damier is CLASSIC and is the oldest pattern in the LV line. It is also what I saw ALL the women wearing in Paris when I was there last month.

So which Damier styles did you see most? Alma or some of the newer bags? I'm planning to get a Damier this summer and am torn between a classic Alma and a Saleya.

OMG that was my problem too!!! Here is how I solved it. I waited another week, went back to the 2 LV stores in my area ro "revisit" my selections and try them on again. I bought nothing at the stores but after that second visit I knew what I wanted-the Baggy GM in denim blue, and just ordered it from e-LUXURY. There are too many choices in the stores!

I know what you mean, I do the same. I go in all set out to get something in particular and end up wanting something way out of my price range then I walk out the store with nothing . I can't seem to make up my mind. Wish I could buy them all

i see many people carry speedy though as its been out for i dont know forever.. thats what i think make it classique... and many people who saw one want one..but bellem just debuted last year correct me if i am wrong..not many people have one..
and i am more of a damier fans...

but the bottom line get the bag that u really like.. even if its mean u got to save...in the end u will treasure ur hard earned bag more...
