I am right-hand dominant and if I'm carrying a shoulder bag I put it on my right shoulder, satchels get carried on my left arm though. My watch is on my left arm and I dial/text/talk on the phone all on my left side. I had my right shoulder rebuilt 2 years ago and thats when I got into carrying bags on the left side but now I'm slowly moving back haha

bags go on my right arm, and right shoulder. i'm left handed.I wear my watch on my left wrist.
----- Do you wear or hold your bags on your dominant arm/hand (the hand you write with)??

I'm a leftie and never even thought twice about this but when I was in the Coach store last night trying some bags on I put them on my left shoulder and then started to think about why I do that.

A lot of lefties (including me) wear their watches on their right (opposite) wrist, so if I were following form, it seems only natural that I should be wearing my purse on my right shoulder rather than my left but I wear my purses on the same shoulder as my writing hand. Also, I now realize that when I stoop over to sign something and my bag is on my shoulder, it always falls off, but if I wore my bag on my opposite shoulder that wouldn't happen. I tried on a purse just now on my opposite (right) shoulder and it felt REALLY STRANGE, don't know if I could get used to that.
So what does everyone else do???..... Like I said, weird question, but now I can't stop wondering about this.:confused1:

I am a right handed gal and I wear my purse on my left shoulder. For some reason I can't at all on my right shoulder, just falls off continually. I always carried my kids on my left hip too. weird I know, but I couldn't on my right hip.

I'm right-handed and I always wear my bags on my right shoulder. I also wear my watch on my right hand too. For satchels though, I will either carry them on my right or left arm.

I wear my bag on my dominant side-the right. Now that I think about it though, it'd make more sense to carry my bag on my left so I can use my dominant hand to get things from my bag. Also, I hate when my purse gets in the way of me signing a receipt! Hmmm, I think I'm going to switch it up now.

I am right-handed. I wear my watches and bracelets on my left wrist (but not at the same time) and if I put a bag on my shoulder, it goes on my left. I carry wristlets and clutches with my left hand. Satchels are carried in either hand, but if I'm shopping they often end up hanging from the crook of my left arm. Straps slide off my right shoulder.

I am right handed and I carry all my bags on my left shoulder or my left hand, while carrying a sling bag,the srrap rests on my left shoulder and the bag at my right hip.
I have never tried to carry my bags on my right nor do I think will I evr try..
I always wear my watch on my right wrist but my bracelets, rings, bangles, etc always go on my left.
So to answer your question,it is right, left, right for me.

I’m right handed and wear my bag on my left shoulder. I carry a clutch with my left hand. When I wear a crossbody I always wear it so the bag is on my left hip. My watch and bracelets are on my left arm. I don’t wear bracelets on my right arm because I can’t stand them hitting a desk or countertop when I’m writing.

For me, if its on the shoulder it goes on my writing arm (right). If I am putting it on my wrist/arm it goes opposite (left). Hmm interesting I don't know why I do that. :p
I do the same- I'm shocked at all the other replies!!! Though, I try to alternate shoulders to avoid alignment issues- my default is right shoulder/left arm! Fascinating. I think part of it has to do with keeping it held shut while I hold coffee/phone w my left...
