yes mens weekender has longer handles but no mirror.

impossible to wear weekender cross body. think of a enlarged work!

This goes out to ALL that are proud Bal Weekenders... I've never seen in person but hear they are quite large. Curious to know if they'd be better for a travel bag, etc. vs. an everday purse? *Embarrassed* to ask but what do you all recommend them for? OK, besides looking chic! TIA!

well, i'm a guy and i have the new bouton d'or (BRIGHT yellow) weekender and i'm going to use it as a travel bag. it's the PERFECT size for traveling! i'd definitely invest in one of these!

Finally i have decided to keep my VF WE as a day off and shopping days bag, when the subway isn't too packed, when i need a big bag to put some shopping bags in. I won't use it as an everyday bag to work. so miss vert foncé will go out not very often, but at least i've found a place for her in my collection.

I use mine every day! To work; for school; to travel; shopping. Everywhere! I love having all of the extra room. What makes the WE so great is that you get all of the space and NONE of the weight because BALBAGs are so light! The WE is my favorite bag for sure!

Okay ladies i'm 5' would a Work be huge on me? I have been looking at the thread picture and you ladies look really good with it, but then with my height i don't think it will work or maybe me just telling myself that it might work on my size.

Well it is awfully big, but I don't discriminate- I think big bags are wonderful no matter what height (like sunglasses!) However if you are looking at a WE I would look into a darker color like Brown or Black, as a color might be a bit overwhelming! Additionally, for such a big purchase, I would definitely wait to try one on in person before purchasing, as Bal's return policy is pretty rigid (unless you purchase on the new eCommerce site!)
