Weekender as everyday bags and Modeling pics (plus Shorties with Biggies!)

Hey everyone!
So I've recently become obsessed with Balenciaga and after seeing all the great styles, the weekender seems to be the next on my list!
But I'm wondering, what does everyone use it for? Is it more of just a traveling bag? (And if so does the fact that it doesn't have a strap annoy you?) A work bag? An everyday bag!? I'm just trying to figure out whether or not its actually practical for me... Thanks!!! ( Pics of your weekender in action would be great!!!

Ok everyone, as some of you know, my Balbag consumption rolls on unchecked. Up next for me is a weekender....I love big bags and have a couple Works and Days now. I don't think I am planning on using the weekender as a handbag (that may be ridiculous given my size, but you never know), but more so as a real travel bag - I do travel A LOT (weekly or biweekly). For those of you that have weekenders - do you really use them a lot daily or do they end up being eye candy in your closet? And when you do use them, is the bag so cavernous that stuff just rolls around messily?
This is good info. I really want a WE too, but keep putting it off worried that it won't be a good everyday bag for me. This fall I'm either getting a black cherry WE or city (my favorite balenciaga style). I guess we'll see.
BIG bags and the slouchy look. I use my WEs as every-day bags. I'd say go for it Already lots of pages on this

I will soon start to use my weekenders as everyday bags...I think I will feel ok with them even if they are big as I always have loads to carry. Since they are from -04 and -05 they do not have longer straps so I guess they only work when I´m not wearing a heavy coat/jacket.....well, I guess with all the stuff I´m going to put into them they will soon enlarge,LOL,
btw. I always carry a big clutch inside my bags, even the city...that protects the interior. The clutch is as big as the city (anya hindmarch with a donkey on it,lol) so I put most stuff inside that, and I don´t have to worry about smearing of makeup or anything (well, of course I carry my makeup in a MU but that is inside the bag too...stuffed, yup )

I'm 5'2, 100 lbs and sometimes I feel silly carrying the city because it's really big on my tiny frame. But i dont care, I love big bags. I'd love a work - but dont have the money to have two bbags - and i would never sell my city to fund a work. A WE I *know* I couldn't do

My 08' Black WE is my FAVORITE Bbag! I use it almost everyday: school, travel, work, gym, ambling.... everything! I will say that I recommend a newer style with the longer handles though- so I can load stuff in there if I need to. I love being able to use the handles on my shoulder since it's so big..... it makes it much more comfortable to carry
! I'm 5'9" so the size isn't an issue, but personally, I don't think size matters at all when it comes to bags! Additionally, like a Bbags I keep what's inside organized because of the black lining- so if you're organized you'll have noooo problem with the size! Good luck- I would 100000% recommend getting one!
