Couldn't you turn your Neverfull inside out and scrub it with a brush and somey type of laundry detergent or liquid Castile soap and water before you put it in the washing machine?

I would NOT recommend putting your LV through the washer or dryer!
I did this myself and I completely destroyed bag. Only reason I attempted it is because it was a last resort. I thought I had completely removed the extremely funky odor but it was still very evident. I tried EVERYTHING to no avail.

The bag is now sitting in my closet in a garbage bag! The leather is ruined and the bag still smells horrible! :)

I was just considering washing my azure NF. The inside is a mess and it's driving me nuts! I'm gonna give it a go. How bad could it be lol?!

Just wanted to update...The dirt was basically just normal wear and tear on the outside, with watermarks from a spilled/squeezed juice pouch on the lining. The marks from the juice were pretty big on three sides of the bag, and driving me nuts! I started out putting it in a large mesh lingerie bag, with just a touch of all natural detergent, on the delicate cycle. Not much of a noticeable difference. At that point I figured I'd go all in. Back in the washer, no lingerie bag, Tide he, normal cycle on heavy soil with an extended soak. Then I put it in the dryer on low heat for 15 minutes.

I would say it's about 90 percent better than it was. I'm really happy with the results. The azure canvas seems to be brighter overall, the lining is much much better, although I can still see some marks. The leather seemed lighter at first, but now it seems pretty much the same, with a bit less of the gray/dirt it can get on the edges. I was hoping it would end up more even overall, it's darker where I hold it, but that is pretty much the same.

I know it's crazy to put it in the washer, but honestly I couldn't carry it that dirty anymore! And I would hate to part with it, it is just such a great bag. A clean bag is way better than a dirty bag any day!

After reading about a few brave TPFers who washed their LV bags in the washing machine, I decided to give it a try. I received a Totally Azur MM from a Hong Kong seller yesterday. It looks amazing, but has that musty smell which drives me nuts. I put it in the freezer for 12 hours after reading one thread....didn't work. Well, I don't have the guts to put it in the washer YET..so I'm trying it on an old speedy I bought from eBay a while back and haven't used due to the smell. If it gets the smell out of that musty bag....I just might try the Totally next! The speedy is in the washer right now....fingers crossed!
