Was happy with my holiday decision until I received some opinions on it..

I like it! The 2 arrows look great together and the color is very complementary without being too matchy. I think the amount of sparkle really depends on how clean the diamonds are in combination with the lighting. My little Schlumberger ladybug is the same way. I tend to touch it quite a bit + the oils from my skin = greasy diamonds = less sparkle. But when clean and in direct light they have a lot of fire for a little piece.

I paid about the same for my bug as for your arrow.

I have tiffany's 1.5" fleur de lis key pendant and it's very, very sparkly. So I see no reason why your arrow wouldn't be. I'm thinking the lighting was bad, and yeah, it doesn't work against that sweater.

But, I love how they look together in your latest pics, the ones where they're worn against the skin. You can see that it does sparkle!! I'd keep it.

I also think it might be less sparkly because it's a little shorter and under the shadow of your chin. Maybe that particular arrow won't have the chance to catch as much sparkle as something a bit lower?

It's awfully cute, but if you're interested in the shine factor, than you might want to get something else that pairs nicely with the other arrow.

I love the two together and I love that they're the same but not identical. The little arrow looks pretty sparkly... especially in the last picture (although it's so hard to tell from the pictures). I would keep both. That being said, if you don't LOVE the diamond arrow, then you should definitely get something that YOU love for that price.

I love it in the second pic, it looks sparkly!

I just cleaned it in a dipping solution and it seems to sparkle in low light now, I'm wondering If maybe you are right and it was sold to me without being cleaned or maintained. I really wish I could show everyone in person to make a collective decision! Thank you all for your input

I personally think it's really pretty on you. Maybe take it back to Tiffany for a professional cleaning and see what you think about the sparkle afterward? It's a gorgeous piece.

So glad it's sparkling now that it's been cleaned. As long as its nice and glittery I think it's worth the price tag. It's an adorable design, and looks great layered with the one from your bf.

You said it's plat right? Soak it in a little hot water and dish soap, and give it a spritz with windex after wards and rinse well and dry really well. Maybe a quick blowdry. If after that it's not sparkling, take it back and see if they have another in stock to compare to. Tiny or not, their melee is usually fairly well cut, and should sparkle.

That's exactly my reaction too, I tried on the rose gold, and then the next day I quickly ran in to buy the platinum one and didn't stay long because there's an SA I try to avoid at the store I went to and she was hovering. I don't know why it's not sparkling the way it does I tried taking another pic near the window in a different lighting View attachment 2442037 I enjoy the combo, and would honestly pay more for more sparkle. Even if it's minuscule Tiffany's should sparkle, very torn right now and wondering what the best way to go would be. Rubedo is definitely staying since that was picked for me, I wish there was some way to make it sparkle, that's why I went for platinum. Looks like I'll never get rid of this credit lol...

They look beautiful here in this latest photo. I would keep it, or maybe take it back to the store and compare to another one?
I know $1500 is a lot of money, but with Tiffany a percentage of the pricetag is for the name.

Hmmm? As AME posted the melee should sparkle...catch the light, so to speak.
I'm wondering if your diamond arrow should be worn alone, it's a lovely/edgy look by itself. The beauty of a single DBTY pendant is how subtle a piece it is. Maybe your diamond arrow should be viewed in the same way.
But if you don't like it, return it................................

I think it is beautiful, both the pave and rubedo. I have a few dainty tiffany diamond necklaces like the mini bow. it is only 0.11 ctw and sparkles like crazy even though the stones are teeny tiny. it does not look like silver to me, it looks like platinum!

keep it if you love it!

to me it sounds like your cousins are being snotty, and trying to undermine your gifts...jealous maybe?
