Well, she has 11k in her Chase bank account that was "lent" to her by Chase until the final decision approximately 5 business days from now. I hope Chase beats the SH*T out of Paypal

I couldn't help but wonder about this case and it's similarities to herpercassidy's.
Weren't both buyers in Canada?
Didn't PayPal render astonishingly irrational decisions unreasonably fast?
I can't help but wonder if this scamming buyer has anything in common with harpercassidy's scammer in regard to a PayPal connection, either through another PayPal employee or is actually employed by PayPal.
It is NOT common to hear stories about PP ordering destruction of a bag. How many of us have returned fake bags and never been ordered to destroy them?
The PayPal angle of this case stinks to high heaven just as harpercassidiy's case.

I spoke with a supervisor at Chase and he told me the money that was placed back into my account is MINE!!!!!!!!!
He said it is VERY VERY difficult for Paypal to refute the money that Chase took BACK for me into my account. He said since it was a direct bank ACH transaction, it is much harder for Paypal to dispute.
Paypal DOES have 45 days from now to "dispute" it and must provide my bank with documentation substantiating the dispute. HOWEVER, my bank told me that since Paypal took my money AND I did not receive my merchandise back, he HIGHLY DOUBTS PP will win!!!
I cannot believe this........COME ON 45 DAYS!!!! I am so happy........for now!!! My bank (and I spoke with a supervisor in claims/fraud) is VERY OPTIMISTIC for me and says Paypal normally does not refute an ACH dispute!
But it is also a LOT of money so they may.......

This is the best news I have heard all day!!!!!!
My battle may not be over yet but at least it is looking optimistic!
I cannot thank you all enough for rallying around me in this time of major crisis. My bank also said that Paypal will need to pursue the BUYER if they want their money back because Chase is not going to give it up easily, LOL........Karma is a real BIT$#!
