WARNING: If you purchased from Rue La La recently, watch your credit card

Wow, it sounds like they've got some greedy employees. Someone definitely needs to let them know! This email address is on their website for suggestions, comments, thoughts, etc. [email protected] I have no idea if it really goes to the CEO, but it would be worth a shot. It might be easier than trying to get someone on the phone.

i think you guys can also post this news on the consumerist website. whenever an issue of this nature is addressed on their site, it gets plenty of attention from people and eventually brought to the company that is involved. hope that helps.

OMG! This just happened to me! I've never had cc fraud before in my life and I just found out 3 weeks ago someone started making fraudulent charges on my cc to escort services, online dating sites and online florists! I had shopped at ruelala just prior to this! I'm literally shaking I'm so upset. I have already gone over it with my cc company and put a fraud alert on my info but it is just disgusting that I now have to deal with all the paperwork and redtape because of this. If this is indeed a leak or bad employee at ruelala, I will take it all the way to the local authorities and the BBB. Disgusting!

Wow! I can't believe how many people this is happening to! Definitely enough to keep me from shopping at RueLaLa!

I know! I've purchased from them before, and didn't have any problems (luckily I used a prepaid card for that). I keep seeing things that I want, but I'm so scared to buy from them.

I tend to think it's one slimy employee though, and not a company wide thing. Hopefully they find the guy soon and send him to jail! Then they need to do some damage control!

So after following this thread for a while, I have to ask... to those of you who have been scammed, how many of you contacted Rue La La? And how many of you received a response?

I've been wondering too. Seems like something they'd want to be aware of! I've said it before, but I really don't think this is a company wide problem. I think it's one shady employee. It would be very easy for RueLaLa to figure out who processed the orders and then act accordingly.

If you read the earlier posts, some people who were frauded used a one time use only credit card, so the only retailer they shopped with that card was RueLaLa...

I wont shop with them until we hear a response back on how they are going to resolve the issues with these fraud cases.
