When I was 25 I probably only owned 5 pieces of frequently worn jewelry:
1. fun watch (went through a Kenneth Cole, Timex, Skagen, Seiko)
2. 2 strands of pearls - two bc they were small but looked great layered together or worn as a long opera length or as a stacked bracelet
3. gold ring with a funny pig on it
4. taihitan pearl (5mm or so) pendant
5. this pink enamel bangle my then bf now dh gifted

now im older and the HG pieces are mostly an upgrade of the things above (btw i dont have pierced ears hence no earrings)
1. luxury watch... actually i just want to do a nice cleaning and polish/ overhaul of my 1950s omega seamaster
2. strand of akoya pearls 10mm
3. an emerald solitaire ring so ridiculously awesome and flawless its cocktail esque :)
4. 10 motif vca necklace. perferably 2 to layer
5. colored diamond solitaire pendant for everyday wear

1 down, 4 to collect! :)

I'm sure I've already responded to this,
But it's fun to reply to these threads!

1. Pearl set (I like my akoya Tiffany pearls)

2. Bangles (i love my Cartier love)

3. Signature ring- be it Cartier trinity, love, heirloom

4. Diamond or precious stone pendant

5. Diamond studs

6. I think a luxury watch is necessary

When I think of truly high end pieces that someone should have ultimately though but in a higher price range...

VCA 10/20 motif
VCA frivole earrings
Cartier love bangle or diamond bangle/tennis bracelet
Luxury watch (I prefer Cartier)
Cartier cocktail ring or something like the panthere ring

This is the list I am currently coveting

Pearl studs and single strand neck lace. (Bought my set when I was 26)
Classic watch (I got my Hermes at 27 but I'm eyeing the cartier tank.... :-) )
Bangle type bracelet (saving for a cartier rg love at the moment)
Single pendant necklace (got a pear topaz that looks amaz)
Gem earring (I have the clasic looking round base with pear dangle: I got aquamarine, topaz, amethist, jade, emerald they look like candy)

Not a big lover of just diamond and platin its too cold looking for me.
I perfer the colour pops of gems

1) A great watch (I'm partial to an automatic so I don't need to worry about changing the battery. Lately I've been wearing my SS Rolex 24/7. I love that it looks fantastic whether I'm wearing jeans or a suit.)

2) A great pair of earrings (I find I wear my VCA frivoles 5-6 days a week. They go with jeans or work attire.)

3) A bracelet (I wear a diamond bracelet a local jeweler made for me that has contains various color/shaped diamonds to represent my family, years of marriage, etc)

4) Cocktail gemstone rings. I love how they sparkle and I think you get more bang for your buck than with a diamond ring.

Oh.. Sounds lovely. Pictures of your pendant and earrings?

1 Good classic watch
2 Pearl studs/yellow gold ball studs/diamond studs
3 Dainty everyday necklace (like DBTY)
4 Classic everyday bracelet (like RTT)
5 Diamond or another precious stone ring

My own jewelry box consists of the following:

Sapphire pendant - worn every day

Diamond ring - solitaire 0.4carat

Diamond huggies

These are the things I wear every day, I have some other pieces that are stunning but I wear them less frequently. For me to wear jewelry my one stipulation is that's it's white gold or silver, yellow gold doesn't suit me. I also prefer classic pieces and antique pieces.

The wife & I have a small collection of pendents that we both wear, we have our favorites but my thing was to build something that no one else might buy or build, when going down the street I didnt want to see a similar pendent coming at me, was me just being a little unique, not better just different-stevie...

1- diamond tennis bracelet
2- diamond solitare studs (any cut you love)
3- diamond pendant (solitare preferrably but mine are all different designs)
4- chanel set diamond ring (my wedding ring is in that style and i love it)
5- this is a fun one but its not a must: a diamond charm bracelet that spells something could be your name or "love" or "amore", or alternatively if you like colored stones you can choose a jewelry piece that has them, ex i looove champagne diamonds (or chocolate diamonds) so i have earings that have that stone :)
