Vegas, I remember in the money thread where (I think it was) you who suggested that she mention some investment strategies (since she was the financial queen and all
) and she responded in jargons. I think I stated in the thread that she probably wouldn't give us any leads since she would probably respond that we should do are own DD. I remember her asking me what DD was and I am no financial expert, but almost everyone (who dabbles in investments) knows that it means due diligence. I thought that it was an odd question from her but really didn't question it much.I try to find the good in people and give them the benefit of the doubt. I've been on the forum from when there were only like 70 members
and compared to others that have recently joined, the number of my postings are on the low end. I don't feel the need to comment on everything that strikes my interest but I truly enjoy this forum. So, I thank Swanky (my Chanel homegirl) and Amanda (who busted Lila **hilarious**) for weeding out the imposters!

Envyme - I felt like she was being so irresponsible making it seem like investing in hedge funds was a walk in the park. And I've learned over the years "investment advisors" usually sell you what makes them the most money.
She scared me. I truly hope no one took her advice seriously. In fact I hope people due there DD on any information given on the investment thread.

I feel sorry for her. Who is to say? She may be some insanely rich but lonely person who doesn't get any attention and feels unloved. Or maybe we are the only ones who pay attention to her. Or maybe she just is a broke lady who wishes she had a "better" life.
Either way, I woke up thinking about her today. And I hope she can find some help and some peace. I can not imagine how sad she must be in real life.

How funny. I always found her posts phony but told myself I was just being jealous. I thought perhaps she had married into money etc.

I agree. I feel guilty because I always supected of her but how could I go against her word? She seemed like a respected member. I don't know. Next time I'll speak up.
I was one of the first to respond with a compliment to the bracelet, never once thinking that it was all a lie! I always try to believe the best in people and it is really sad to think that people have to lie to make themselves feel better.
Bee...Bee claimed to be a female trader and highly successful at that... female traders in and of themselves are very rare (BF works for second-largest prop trading firm in the WORLD and they have ZERO female traders), but the truly successful ones who make the kind of bank Bee...Bee claimed to make can be counted on one hand and everyone in finance knows them. Her lies were outrageous from the very beginning... I remember when she wrote about staying up 24 hours to "save millions of dollars." First of all, if she were as successful as she claimed, this would be her life EVERY night, not just one night.
I nearly died laughing when she mentioned the hedge fund Citadel... lol... She really doesn't realize what a SMALL world it is.

I posted something similar early in the thread. It is sooooooo true. I-banking is a VERY small world. I was watching some show on tv and this girl like 22 said she was an i-banker. My ex started laughing. He said he never heard of her.

I can't believe that whole post was a pack of lies. I just don't get why anyone would do that, I mean she would have impressed me if she'd just shown me the photo alone, she didn't have to say she owned it. I always though her posts were really good and nothing unusual so this is really random to hear that it's all been made up.
